Ori and the Will of the Wisps is the sequel to the acclaimed indie darling Ori and the Blind Forest which released back in 2015. Like the previous title Ori and the Will of the Wisps places a lot of emphasis on exploration and backtracking. If you finish the game there is a high chance you’ve left a few things undone. If you are looking for suggestions on things to do after you’ve completed the game you’ve come to the right place. Here are 5 things to do after beating Ori and the Will of the Wisps.

Achievement Hunting

There are a total of 37 achievements for players to unlock in Ori and the Will of the Wisps. These achievements range in difficulty from easy to unlock to rather difficult. It also is worth pointing out that unlocking all achievements in a single run would be close to impossible, so you will need to do a couple of playthroughs to make 100% the game. Here’s a list of all the achievements you can unlock.

Complete Any Missed Side Quests

In Ori and the Will of the Wisps you probably noticed a number of NPCs you can speak to learn more about the world and get side quests. Many of these side quests are worth doing as they unlock a wide range of valuables like Shards, Ore, and even Light. In total there are about 12 Side Quests for players to complete:

Follow any of the links above to go to a guide on the side quest. If you are achievement hunting you will need to complete all of these side quests to unlock one of them.

Complete Combat Shrines and Races

As you explored the areas in Ori and the Will of the Wisps you will ahve come across a number of different shrines. These shrines contain challenges that Ori can undertake to unlock Spirit Shard Slots and Light. If you missed out on doing any of these shrines, now is the perfect time to do so. Completing the various challenge shrines is a good way to quickly improve Ori as they unlock rather useful items.

Explore the Optional Burrows Location

In the lowest southwest corner of the world you will find a location called the Midnight Burrows. This location is completely optional and features an interesting side quest to complete. If you beat the game and didn’t explore this area I recommend doing so. There is a nice collection of portal puzzles to complete. Find all Collectibles

The final undertaking (and easily most intensive) is to find all the collectibles. There are a ton of collectibles to find in Ori and the Will of the Wisps. These collectibles include the following:

  • 31 Spirit Shards.
  • 5 Spirit Shard Slot Upgrades.
  • Life Orbs.
  • Energy Orbs.

Finding all of these collectibles is required for achievement hunting, but they are also useful on their own. Each collectible gives you a noticeable boost in a wide variety of gameplay aspects.
