How to Trigger the Stone Owl Event
The Stone Owl can appear on your farm after completing your first year. The event is quite rare, with a less than 1% chance of occurring each night, similar to the other random daily event the Strange Capsule.
To increase your chances of seeing the Stone Owl, make sure you have an open tile on your farm where the statue can spawn. Simply continue advancing through days in the game, and listen for an owl sound while you’re sleeping. If you hear this sound, the following day you’ll find the statue on one of your farm tiles.
Does the Stone Owl Do Anything?
The Stone Owl is a decorative item that appears randomly. Once it shows up, you can move and place the statue wherever you like on your farm. Its in-game description reads: “It’s not clear where this came from, but it looks very fine.” Note that this statue is different from the statue you can obtain from the Night Market.

I am 7yrs along in-game & have a total of 4 Owl Statues that have randomly generated…what I find interesting, is that I randomly found my first while clearing my land, & then the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th all seemed to appear as I added family to my land…my husband, & then each of my children.

And I like how “rare” they’re supposed to be, but in most of my safe files I’ve gotten at least one in the beginning of year one, and often I even get multiple…. It’s not as rare to me as the database says….

My husband’s owl statue (random event, not Night Mrkt). It moves to different places on the farm from time to time. Has anyone ever had that happen? I can’t seem to find anything on the web that tells if the stone owl unlocks or does something else.
I had my audio off, but had a pause loading my profits of the day, so i thought something happened. Oddly, i had a mushroom tree sprout the same night! What the chances!
