5 Things to Do After Beating Red Dead Redemption 2

Once you’ve completed the main storyline of Red Dead Redemption 2, you might think you’ve seen it all, but there’s so much more to discover! The post-game offers plenty of exciting activities and opportunities for exploration. Whether you’re into hunting, collecting, or just revisiting the story, here are 5 things to do after beating Red Dead Redemption 2.
1. Finish Hunting All Legendary Animals

Legendary Animals are scattered throughout the world and hunting them rewards you with unique pelts. There are 16 Legendary Animals in total, some of which are unlocked during the post-game. These animals are located across the open world, and their pelts can be traded to the Trapper for Legendary Outfits. The Legendary Animals that are only available after finishing the main story (in the Blackwater region) include:
- Cougar
- Bison
- Pronghorn
Be sure to track down these creatures if you want to craft Legendary Outfits.
2. Track Down Collectibles You Missed
Red Dead Redemption 2 hides countless collectibles throughout its world, with some only accessible after completing the main story. If you’re aiming for 100% completion, now’s the perfect time to track down any missed collectibles. Here’s a list of all the collectibles you can find:

3. Replay Story Missions to Earn Gold
If you’re looking to complete all the challenges in Red Dead Redemption 2, you’ll need to replay certain missions to earn gold medals. Each mission has various challenges that range in difficulty, and you need to achieve gold completion on all of them for 100% completion.
Thankfully, you can replay any story mission at any time. To do so, go to Progress > Story > Chapter, highlight the mission you want to replay, and press the replay button.
4. Experiment with Cheats
For a fun twist on your post-game experience, try using cheats. Cheats can be unlocked by finding newspapers in the world of Red Dead Redemption 2. Once unlocked, you can enter them through the settings menu.
Cheats can range from simple quality-of-life improvements to downright wild abilities. Keep in mind that enabling cheats will disable achievements, so use them for fun or to explore the world in a new way.
5. Hunt for Achievements and Trophies
The achievement list in Red Dead Redemption 2 is long and challenging. It covers both singleplayer and multiplayer aspects, so it’s worth dedicating time to complete them all.

In Red Dead Online, you can team up with other players, engage in various missions, and explore new storylines. It’s an excellent way to extend your time in the RDR2 universe.
These are just a few of the activities you can enjoy after finishing the main storyline of Red Dead Redemption 2. Whether you’re hunting Legendary Animals, going for collectibles, or revisiting old missions, there’s always something new to discover. Happy exploring!
