How to Get Huge Pets in Pet Simulator X
The Roblox experience Pet Simulator X tasks players with finding pets in the world. Many of these pets are common to find but some are a lot harder. One of the hardest types of pets that players can find is the Huge Pet. These types of pets, as the name suggests, are the larger variants within their species. Getting Huge Pets can be a bit confusing, so our guide below will show you how to get Huge Pets in Pet Simulator X.
Hatch Huge Pets From Eggs
The first method is the simplest, and possibly cheapest, method of getting Huge Pets. This method is Egg Farming. In PSX pets come from hatching eggs. Some of these eggs have the low chance of hatching a Huge Pet if you are lucky. Keep in mind that not every egg can hatch a Huge Pet so you will want to focus your time on hatching any of the following:
Location | Egg | Possible Huge |
---|---|---|
Cat World > Cat Throne Room | Royal Egg | Huge Green Balloon Cat |
Doodle World > Doodle Barn Room | Barn Doodle Egg | Huge Doodle Cat |
Doodle World > Doodle Shop | Gem Doodle Egg | Huge Doodle Fairy |
Kawaii World > Kawaii Alley | Kawaii Alley Egg | Huge Kawaii Dragon |
Kawaii World > Kawaii Alley | Kawaii Alley Egg | Huge Ninja Axolotl |
Kawaii World > Dojo | Cafe Egg | Huge Kawaii Cat |
Kawaii World > Dojo | Cafe Egg (Hardcore Only) | Huge Bread Shiba |
Various | Comet Egg | Huge Comet Cyclop Huge Comet Agony |
Various | Scavenger Egg | Huge Safari Cat |
N/A | Exclusive Egg (Robux) | Update Huge Pets |
These are all of the currently available eggs that can hatch Huge Pets in the game. Keep in mind that hatching a Huge is luck based, meaning you could hatch an egg and get lucky immediately, or hatch for 100’s of hours without ever getting a Huge from hatching.
There are ways to improve your chances you may wish to pursue if Huge Pets are your goal. These require spending Robux on different Gamepasses. Both the Triple/Octuple Eggs Gamepasses allow you to hatch more eggs at once, which may increase the chance of your getting a Huge Pet from an egg.
Get Huge Pets During Updates & Seasonal Events
If mindlessly hatching eggs is not interesting to you, you want to keep your schedule open to take part in the game’s weekly updates. Each Saturday at 10 AM MST, PSX receives a content update. This update can range from simple things like a seasonal event to cross promotion with other games.
Updates and Seasonal Event can offer a vary lucrative chance at getting limited time Huge Pets. Recently there has been events that have unlocked the Huge Chef Cat, Huge Error Cat, and two Easter Themed Huge Pets. While the updates are live there is often better chances at getting the update’s Huge Pets, which makes it worth the time investment to take part in.
Use the Huge-A-Tron Machine
In the Huge Machine update BIG Games added a machine called the Huge-A-Tron. This machine allows players to convert Exclusive Pets into points. Once a player has enough points then can spend Robux to make a guaranteed Huge Egg. The costs are as follows:
- For 100 points, the cost is FREE!
- For 75 points, the cost is 300 Robux.
- For 50 points, the cost is 800 Robux.
If you have a lot of Exclusive Pets kicking around this can be an easy way to score yourself one of the following Huge Pets: Huge Pterodactyl, Huge King Cobra, Huge Orca, Huge Chameleon, and Huge Angelus.
This method is good if you are flush with Diamonds to buy Exclusive Pets or have accumulated Exclusive Pets over the course of playing. Ideally you will want to try and hit that 100 Point mark so you don’t have to pay any Robux.
Buy Drops with Real Money
On very rare occasions the developers, BIG Games, will release special drops players can take part in. These drops are usually for Titanic size pets, but they sometimes do huge pets instead. What a drop entails is a limited amount of a certain item that can be used in-game to unlock a pet. A good example of this is the Huge Pink Balloon Cat could be bought for 5,000 Robux from the Roblox Avatar Store.
Buy or Trade for a Huge Pet in the Trading Plaza
The last method of acquiring Huge Pets is through the game’s Trading Plaza. This area is accessible once you’ve reached Impossible Rank and have unlocked it by spending 1m Gems. In the Trading Plaza you can trade or purchase Pets. Many times there will be Huge Pets available for purchase with Gems making it the easiest method of attaining Huge Pets in the game. If you are short on Gems you can purchase more using Robux or sell your pets to other players in the Trading Plaza area.
Trading is an alternative method to just simply buying the Huge Pets. This method is fairly risky if you don’t know the person you are trading with. Many players will attempt to scam you of your Pets, so be extra cautious when going this route. This is not to say you can’t trade with players, but keep in mind the risks.
Using the methods laid out above you should be able to get yourself a Huge Pet in Pet Simulator X. The unfortunate reality of this free-to-play game is that the developers want you to spend money on it, so players that do will receive far more rewards than those that don’t.
