Borderlands 3 Shift Codes List (May 2024)

In Borderlands 3 there are special codes players can use to unlock a chest on Sanctuary 3. These codes are called Shift Codes and they can be inputted to earn a variety of rewards in-game. To keep track of these codes we’ve put together the Borderlands 3 Shift Codes list below. Consult it to see what Shift Codes are currently active in Borderlands 3.

Active Shift Codes

The majority of codes in Borderlands 3 come from the official Gearbox Twitter account. The company will periodically shoot out a Tweet that contains the relevant code. Besides the Gearbox Twitter the company President Randy Pitchford will often Tweet out codes as well. Follow his Twitter account here.

How to Input Shift Codes

There are two methods for players to use to input Shift Codes in-game: website and Social Menu. To input the codes using the website head to the Borderlands’ Website and Select the Shift link in the top menu. Sign-in then input your codes. The second option, Social Menu, can be located in-game. Login to the game then navigate to Social > Shift Code.

Where to Claim Golden Keys, and Chest Location

After you input a code, claim the reward from the in-game mail system. If the code is correct, a message with your reward will pop up. Accept the reward, then enter the game and make your way to Sanctuary 3. Locate the map marker above, which indicates the Golden Key chest’s location. Approach the chest and interact with it to unlock it. Inside, you’ll discover various rewards, such as weapons, shields, grenades, and more.
