Where to Catch Ditto in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon

Ditto. Every good Pokemon trainer needs one of these Pokemon in their party (or box if you like breeding). But where find this Pokemon to add to your collection? Glad you asked! Below I will be showing you where to catch Ditto in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

Where is Ditto?

Ditto can be found on Ula’ula Island which is the third island in the Alola region. Ula’ula can be accessed after completing the Grand Trials on both Mele’mele and Akala Island (so you can travel there). The Ditto spawn can be found to the South of the Hokulani Observatory in the patches of grass just off the road down to Route 10. Make your way to the area in the picture above and start walking around the grass here. Ditto is a rare Pokemon, so it may take a few minutes for it to appear.

Catching Ditto

Ditto is surprisingly hard Pokemon to catch, so be sure that you have a number of pokeballs with you if you want to catch. To make the catching process easy, bring along a Pokemon that has some type of status effect ability (I prefer sleep). Another tip I can give you is to bring along a Pokemon who has the move False Swipe. With False Swipe, you cannot faint a Pokemon. Combine both the status effect and False Swipe to make catching Ditto a breeze.
