In addition to gaining access to various characters, players can also earn a unique bonus by achieving an S Rank (scoring 200,000 or higher) on all maps within the game mode. This achievement bestows upon players the coveted Handcannon bonus weapon.

Traditionally, unlocking this weapon requires players to conquer the challenging Professional Agent task, which involves completing a fresh playthrough of the main story on Professional mode without utilizing any bonus weapons.

With the arrival of the Separate Ways DLC update, a fresh unlockable has been introduced to the Mercenaries Game mode: the R.P.D. Costume for Leon. To secure this exclusive costume, players must demonstrate their prowess by completing all maps with every character, attaining an impressive S+ rank or higher for each of them.

As of now, those are the primary unlocks available in the Resident Evil 4 Remake Mercenaries Mode. While some fans had anticipated rewards for achieving S++ rankings across all stages, there are no such unlocks currently in place. However, it’s worth keeping an eye out for potential future updates and additional content for the mode, as the game’s developers may introduce new challenges and rewards. Should there be any changes or additions in the future, this post will be updated accordingly to keep players informed.
