Remnant 2 Memory Core II

The Remnant 2 Memory Core II is a Quest Item players can find in the N’Erud world. This Quest Item can be used to gain access to the Pulse Rifle and the Core Booster Amulet. This item is hidden inside of the Dormant N’Erudian Facility dungeon in a secret area. To find this item use our Remnant 2 Memory Core II.

Where to Get the Memory Core II in Remnant 2

Make your way to the Dormant N’Erudian Facility dungeon. In this dungeon clear it out in the time limit then visit the location shown above with the walkway that has railings. In the railing there is a gap. Drop down this gap to the pipe below. Follow the pipe path to the room below.

In the room below walk forward until you reach the elevator. Take the elevator up. Go forward until you reach the control room. In the control room you will find the Biome-Control Glyph. Pick it up. Use the nearby checkpoint to leave the dungeon and then head back inside.

At the start of the dungeon turn to your left to find a locked door. Use the Biome-Control Glyph on this door to open it. Inside this room is the in the console is the Memory Core II Quest Item and next to it is the Toxic Release Valve Amulet.

The Memory Core has the following description:

“An incredibly dense memory storage device, containing not only knowledge but also algorithms, filters, classifications, and learned behaviors. Once part of a strong Al, it has been reduced to a single, unthinking purpose.”

What to Do With the Memory Core II in Remnant 2

Once you’ve gotten this item you need to go to The Custodian NPC in the Ascension Spire named location. Instead of talking to the NPC drop down the hole in the floor behind the statues. In this first lower room you will find the Dryzr Replicator. To the right of it is an elevator, use it to go down to the room below.

In the second lower room you will find a console with two key slots. This console will either have one space open or two. Depending on the open slots determines what items you will get:

• One Slot Open: Far barrier opens and you get access to the Core Barrier Amulet.
• Two Slots Open: First barrier opens and you get access to the Core Barrier Amulet. Second barrier opens and you get access to the Pulse Rifle.

Both the Core Barrier Amulet and the Pulse Rifle can be acquired in a single run. Just make sure you have two slots open on the console. If you do you need to grab both the Memory Core II and the Decorum Cipher to open both purple barriers down the hallway.
