The Remnant 2 Pulse Rifle is a hidden, long range, weapon players can find on N’Erud when there are a certain set of Quest Items spawned in the world. This weapon can be a bit of a pain to acquire, but it is well worth the effort due to its high-accuracy and quick three round burst. To get this weapon for yourself, use our Pulse Rifle guide below.

Check if You Can Get the Pulse Rifle

The Pulse Rifle is a fairly difficult weapon to get as it relies heavily on randomness. This randomness must roll in your favor in order for you to even have a chance to get this weapon. To get it you need both the Decorum Cipher and Memory Core II Quest Items in your game. Before looking for them you can check to see if you can get this weapon.

On the planet of N’Erud you must reroll until you get the Seeker’s Rest start. Once you’ve gotten this start you need to go to The Custodian NPC in the Ascension Spire named location. Instead of talking to the NPC drop down the hole in the floor behind the statues. In this first lower room you will find the Dryzr Replicator. To the right of it is an elevator, use it to go down to the room below.

In the second lower room you need to check something to see if you can get the Pulse Rifle. Approach the console and and look at it. When you look note how many open slots there are on it. If there is one slot you can’t get the Pulse Rifle; if there are two slots you can. If you are going for the Pulse Rifle and only have one slot, you will need to reroll the world at this point and try again.

How to Get the Pulse Rifle in Remnant 2

If you rolled the two slot door lock you can get the Pulse Rifle in this run. To do that you need to collect 2 Quest Items located in different dungeons. These Quest Items are the Decorum Cipher and Memory Core II. To get them you need to visit the following dungeons in your world and find the items.

Make your way to the Dormant N’Erudian Facility dungeon. In this dungeon clear it out in the time limit then visit the location shown above with the walkway that has railings. In the railing there is a gap. Drop down this gap to the pipe below. Follow the pipe path to the room below.

In the room below walk forward until you reach the elevator. Take the elevator up. Go forward until you reach the control room. In the control room you will find the Biome-Control Glyph. Pick it up. Use the nearby checkpoint to leave the dungeon and then head back inside.

At the start of the dungeon turn to your left to find a locked door. Use the Biome-Control Glyph on this door to open it. Inside this room is the in the console is the Memory Core II Quest Item and next to it is the Toxic Release Valve Amulet.

Where to Get the Decorum Cipher in Remnant 2

To get the Decorum Cipher you need to complete the Terminus Station dungeon. This dungeon tasks you with completing a train ride while being attacked by hordes of enemies.

At the end of the train ride go past the checkpoint and use the ladder to go upstairs to the control room. In the control room the window is open, allowing you to jump onto the train. Jump onto the train and drop down through the hatch into the room below. In this room you will find the Atom Smasher Melee Weapon and the Decorum Cipher Quest Item.

Insert Memory Core II and Decorum Cipher to Get Pulse Rifle

Once you’ve collected both the Memory Core II and Decorum Cipher make your way back to the Ascension Spire room we checked earlier. Each time you put an item into the slot you will lower a barrier. Lowering the first barrier gives you access to the Core Booster Amulet and lowering the second barrier gives you access to the Pulse rifle.

The Pulse Rifle is a three-shot burst Long Arm weapon. This weapon can be upgraded at McCabe’s to Level 20. Increasing the level improves the weapon’s damage output.
