Remnant 2 Core Booster

Remnant 2 Pulse Rifle location.

The Remnant 2 Core Booster is an Amulet that players can collect on N’Erud. This Amulet can be unlocked a couple of different ways depending on how your world was rolled.. Both ways require collecting one or more Quest Items to unlock locked doors. To learn how to unlock the Remnant 2 Core Booster, see our guide below.

Check The Door Slots

Remnant 2 Hole leading to the Core Booster area location.
Drop down this hole to reach the Core Booster.

On the planet of N’Erud you must reroll until you get the Seeker’s Rest start. Once you’ve gotten this start you need to go to The Custodian NPC in the Ascension Spire named location. Instead of talking to the NPC drop down the hole in the floor behind the statues. In this first lower room you will find the Dryzr Replicator. To the right of it is an elevator, use it to go down to the room below.

Remnant 2 Pulse Rifle lock configuration.
This slot configuration allows you to get both items. One slot gets you the Amulet.

In the second lower room you need to check something to determine what items you can get. Approach the console and and look at it. When you look note how many open slots there are on it. If there is one slot you can get the Core Booster Amulet; if there are two slots you can get the Pulse Rifle. I highly recommend rerolling so you have two slots. Doing this allows you to get both items in a single run.

How to Get the Core Booster in Remnant 2

Regardless of the number of open slots you rolled you have to grab at least one Quest Item to get the Core Booster Amulet. These Quest Items are the Decorum Cipher or the Memory Core II. Here’s a quick look at how to get both of these items.

In the room below walk forward until you reach the elevator. Take the elevator up. Go forward until you reach the control room. In the control room you will find the Biome-Control Glyph. Pick it up. Use the nearby checkpoint to leave the dungeon and then head back inside.

To get the Decorum Cipher you need to complete the Terminus Station dungeon. This dungeon tasks you with completing a train ride while being attacked by hordes of enemies.

Drop down through the window and use the hatch shown here.

At the end of the train ride go past the checkpoint and use the ladder to go upstairs to the control room. In the control room the window is open, allowing you to jump onto the train. Jump onto the train and drop down through the hatch into the room below. In this room you will find the Atom Smasher Melee Weapon and the Decorum Cipher Quest Item.

Insert Memory Core II, Decorum Cipher, or Both to Get Core Booster

Once you’ve collected either the Memory Core II and Decorum Cipher (or both) make your way back to the Ascension Spire room we checked earlier. Each time you put an item into the slot you will lower a barrier. Depending on how your slots are determines what you gain access to:

  • One Slot Open: Far barrier opens and you get access to the Core Barrier Amulet.
  • Two Slots Open: First barrier opens and you get access to the Core Barrier Amulet. Second barrier opens and you get access to the Pulse Rifle.

The Core Booster Amulet gives players increased Weakspot damage by 50% for 10 seconds after killing an enemy. Since this is an Amulet it cannot be upgraded. The stats listed cannot be changed.
