In Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet players can attend class at Naranja Academy. These classes give you the chance to learn more about Pokemon and different aspects of them. These classes typically contain some type of question the player can answer while attending them. To help you answer the questions correctly, here’s our Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Math class answers guide.

How to Start Math Class?

When you have a class available to start in Naranja Academy you will receive a prompt on your HUD. This prompt will say something like “Math Class is available.” Upon seeing this prompt head to the academy and go into the Entrance Hall. In the Entrance Hall approach the front desk and speak to the lady there. She will ask you what class would you like to take from a selected class list.

Math Class Answers for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Math Class is one of the classes you can attend in Naranja Academy. This class focus on the numbers behind Pokemon. This means delving into things like super-effective bonuses, how much things cost in the world, and the chance of landing a critical hit.

There are a total six Math classes to complete with a question asked in each one. You answer the questions asked by selecting from a group of possible answers. The correct answers for the questions are:

Math (1) Question

Q. If the move Water Gun hits a Fire-type Pokemon, what becomes of the move’s damage?

A. It’s doubled.

Math (2) Question

Q. If you had 2,000 and bought as many Poke Balls as you could afford, how many would you receive?

A. Eleven (11).

Math (3) Question

Q. What percent chance a Pokemon has of landing a Critical Hit?

A. About 4% (4 in 100 hits).

Math (4) Question

Q. How much more damage would this Pokemon deal?

A. Triple damage.

Math (5) Question

Q. What would you use, Surf or Hydro Pump?

A. Depends on the situation (answer doesn’t matter).

Math (6) Question

Q. If a Pokemon that shares a type with this move and uses it and hits an opponent that is weak to that move, what happens to that moves power?

A. Its power becomes 300.
