In NBA 2K24, gamers have the opportunity to access an exclusive Double Takeover feature known as “Mamba Mentality,” a heartfelt homage to the iconic Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers. Players must actively complete specific objectives within the MyCAREER mode to earn access to this exclusive Double Takeover ability. How to Unlock Mamba Mentality in NBA 2K24

To get Mamba Mentality players must complete a Special Quest in MyCAREER. This quest contains three objectives that players must complete in order to receive the new Double Takeover. The quest objectives players need to complete are as follows:

  1. Complete the Decelerator quest at Brickley’s Gym.
  2. Complete the Minimizer quest at The Art of Shooting Facility.
  3. Complete the Second Chance quest at Brickley’s Gym.

Completing the three Takeover Perk quests listed above requires a bit of work to do. The time-gated nature of the gym location imposes restrictions on completing both the Brickley’s Gym quests.. This means you will need to spend multiple days completing those quests before you can unlock the Mamba Mentality Double Takeover.

What Does the Mamba Mentality Do in NBA 2K24

The Mamba Mentality unlock replaces your Double Takeover. When it is activated Mamba Mentality bosses all categories. You can read this description on the MyCAREER Takeover page accessed via the the Progression tab.

Getting the Mamba Mentality Double Takeover replacement ability is fairly simple to do, but does require a few days to complete. Once you do unlock this ability you should see a notice boost in your gameplay due to its powerful nature.
