Jesse Cox as “Jesse Johnson”
One of the initial cameo appearances you’ll come across in Cyberpunk 2077 is none other than the popular streamer and YouTuber, Jesse Cox. Jesse’s in-game character can be located in the Little China area of Night City, situated within the Watson district.
Upon encountering Jesse’s character, Jesse Johnson, you’ll find him experiencing a rather discomforting issue in the groin region. In response, Jesse will request your assistance in escorting him to a Ripperdoc who can provide the necessary help for his… predicament. This initial interaction serves as the commencement of a side mission aptly named “Burning Desire.”
CohhCarnage as “Garry the Prophet”
CohhCarnage, a prominent Twitch streamer, had the privilege of making an appearance in Cyberpunk 2077. Known for his devout dedication to playing RPGs, it’s fitting that he takes on the role of a spiritual figure within the game. Cohh assumes the character of “Garry the Prophet,” a non-playable character (NPC) who can be encountered in an alleyway located just outside Misty’s Esoterica and Chakra Harmonization shop, where Viktor operates his clinic. Here, players have the opportunity to engage with Cohh’s character, listen to his sermons, contribute funds to support his mission, and do a side quest for him called “Prophet’s Song.”
Hideo Kojima as Oshima
The beloved game designer, Hideo Kojima, makes a delightful cameo appearance during the enthralling “The Heist” mission in Cyberpunk 2077. As this mission unfolds, players find themselves within the opulent confines of Konpeki Plaza. Within this prestigious establishment, an intriguing optional objective beckons players to explore the hotel’s bar.
Should you decide to venture into this bar, a rather familiar face named Oshima awaits your discovery. Notably, Oshima bears an uncanny resemblance to none other than Hideo Kojima himself, making for a whimsical and enjoyable encounter for players.
While not a direct cameo, a creation from Hideo Kojima’s world, BB from Death Stranding, also makes an intriguing appearance in Cyberpunk 2077. This particular Easter Egg can be uncovered while progressing through the side mission titled “The Hunt.”
Alanah Pearce as Lana
YouTuber and streamer Alanah Pearce also makes a special appearance in Cyberpunk 2077. You can encounter her, Lana, character in the scrapyards located within the Badlands. Her appearance is tied to the Nomad life path side mission titled “These Boots Are Made For Walkin’,” where your objective is to retrieve your car. In the scrapyards, you’ll need to engage in negotiations with Alanah to secure the return of your vehicle.
