Locate Hideo Kojima at Konpeki Plaza Bar in “The Heist” Mission
Advance in the main storyline until you reach Night City and embark on ‘The Heist‘ mission. During this pivotal mission, you and Jackie will infiltrate Konpeki Plaza with the intention of carrying out a heist. As you progress through the lobby area, you’ll come across a decision point – pause in front of the bar. You have the choice to explore the bar or proceed to your room. Opt to explore the bar and step inside.
Towards the back corner, to the right side of the bar, you’ll encounter Oshima, none other than the legendary Hideo Kojima. As you approach his table, Oshima engages in a conversation about films and his creative process. After he finishes speaking, you can greet him, prompting a few responses. These responses may include him inquiring if you have a pitch for him, asking about your familiarity with his work, or expressing that he’s too busy to chat.
This subtle yet delightful cameo by the iconic game developer is a charming addition, particularly given Kojima’s penchant for including cameos in his own works, such as Death Stranding.
