January 2024 Xbox Game Pass Games Lineup Revealed
The first month of 2024 is officially upon us! January has started with a bang as Xbox has revealed the first half of the January 2024 Xbox Game Pass Games lineup, an it features some pretty solid mix of titles. For a closer looking at everything you can expect to play this month (and games you will no longer be able to play) see the details below.
News of the game lineup came courtesy of the Xbox Wire. Megan Spurr, Community Lead of Xbox Game Pass put together a brief blog post highlighting both the games coming to the service and the ones leaving the service in January.
What Games are Coming to Game Pass in January 2024?
There are a total of 16 games that will be arriving on Game Pass in January 2024. These games include a nice mix of older AAA titles and some indie games. The games coming are:
- Close to the Sun – January 3rd
- Hell Let Loose – January 4th
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – January 9th
- Figment – January 9th
- Super Mega Baseball 4 – January 11th
- We Happy Few – January 11th
- Resident Evil 2 – January 16th
- Those Who Remain – January 16th
Updated Additions
- Those Who Remain – January 16th
- Turnip Boy Robs a Bank – January 18th
- F1 23 – January 18th
- Palworld – January 19th
- Go Mecha Ball – January 25th
- Brotato – January 30th
- Persona 3 Reload – February 2nd
- Anuchard – February 6th
The updated additions in the list above were shared by Xbox in an additional blog post. This blog post revealed the titles being added to service for the remainder of January and into the start of February.
What Games are Leaving Game Pass in January 2024?
Alongside the new additions Xbox also took the time to highlight games that are leaving the service this month. Players will lose access to Grand Theft Auto V on January 5th, and on January 15th will lose access to the following:
- Garden Story (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- MotoGP 22 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Persona 4 Golden (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Persona 3 Portable (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Hitman: World of Assassination (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- F1 2021 (Cloud and Console) EA Play
Overall a fairly okay first post of 2024. The triple AAA games added are a bit on the older side but were some big titles back when they released. Additionally the indie titles included offer a nice bit of variety outside the AAA wheelhouse.
