Xbox Reveals Second Wave of January 2024 Game Pass Games

Additional games to be added to Game Pass in January 2024.

Earlier this month, Xbox provided a quick glimpse of the new Game Pass games scheduled for the first half of January. Since this initial reveal didn’t include all the games for the month, many anticipated a second unveiling. Today, Xbox fulfilled those expectations by showcasing the second wave of games set to join the January 2024 Game Pass from now until the start of February.

News of the game lineup came courtesy of the Xbox Wire. Megan Spurr, Community Lead of Xbox Game Pass put together a blog post highlighting the additional games coming between January 16-February 6. The post also revealed two more games leaving the service this month.

8 Additional Games Announced for January 2024 Game Pass

The blog post from Megan Spurr highlighted an additional 8 games coming to Game Pass over the end of January and the beginning of February. These games are mainly indie in nature but there is one bigger release getting some buzz on social media. The games coming are:

  • Those Who Remain – January 16th
  • Turnip Boy Robs a Bank – January 18th
  • F1 23 – January 18th
  • Palworld – January 19th
  • Go Mecha Ball – January 25th
  • Brotato – January 30th
  • Persona 3 Reload – February 2nd
  • Anuchard – February 6th

Of everything listed above, Palworld is easily the most intriguing of the bunch. This Pokemon-with-guns title is entering early access on January 19th. This game mashes Pokemon with survival elements found in titles like Rust and Ark.

2 More Games Leaving in January

All good things must come to and end and Game Pass games are no different. The blog post revealed an additional two games players will lose access to at the end of January. These two games are:

  • Hitman: World of Assassination (Cloud, Console, and PC) 
  • F1 2021 (Cloud and Console) EA Play

Players interested in retaining titles that are leaving the service have the option to purchase them at an additional 20% off, allowing them to keep the game in their library
