To unlock the new event you first need to reach 14 hearts with Abigail. You should already be around 10 since you’ve married her. To quickly raise the hearts with Abigail you will want to give her the any of the following favorite items until you reach 14 Hearts:

  • Amethyst.
  • Blackberry Cobbler.
  • Chocolate Cake.
  • Pufferfish.
  • Pumpkin.
  • Spice Eel.

Once you’ve reached 14 Hearts with Abigail you need to trigger the next portion of the Heart Event. To do this leave the house and head along the path to the north of the farm that leads to the Carpenter’s Shop. When you enter the path leading to the shop you will trigger the 14-Heart event.

In this 14-Heart event you are foraging in some bushes when a monster attacks you. Since the monster go a jump on you, you will fall over. At this point Abigail enters and attacks the monster. She defeats it then comes over and checks on you. You hug then are prompted to reply with any of the following responses:

  • “It’s sad, but there was no other option.”
  • “Monsters don’t deserve our sympathy.”
  • “It’s a harsh world, kid.”
  • “Did you have to kill him?”

You then embrace one again. Abigail then says she wants to put the monster to rest nearby. There is a fade to black as the 14-Heart event comes to an end.

That’s all you need to know to complete the Abigail 14-Heart Event. What did you think of this event? Let me know in the comments below.
