How to Unlock Je-Ne-Viv in Vampire Survivors

The Vampire Survivors second piece of DLC content, Tides of the Foscari, is out now and with it comes the addition of 8 new Tides of Foscari characters to unlock. In the DLC there are a total of 8 new characters you can unlock by completing specific tasks. One of the characters you can unlock is the DLC’s endgame boss called Je-Ne-Viv. How to Unlock Je-Ne-Viv

To unlock Je-Ne-Viv you need to complete a very specific challenge after you’ve unlocked the character named Genevieve Gruyere. This challenge is to defeat 100,00 in a single run using Genevieve Gruyere. This number might seem like a lot, but it is actually much easier than you’d expect.

To complete the defeat 100,00 in a single run using Genevieve Gruyere challenge here are a few things to do. First play the run in Endless Mode. Second max out the PowerUps Charm and Curse. Third, focus on getting the Skull O’Maniac item during your run to further increase the spawn rate of enemies. Following these steps makes unlocking this character fairly easy to do.

OPTION 2: If you have the Scrolls of Morbane unlocked you can input a Spell to unlock Je-Ne-Viv instead. The Spell to unlock Je-Ne-Viv is theworldeater. Simply input this Spell on the Secrets screen to unlock the character.

Je-Ne-Viv Starting Weapon and Passive

Once you’ve completed the above challenge you will unlock Je-Ne-Viv. This character must be purchased before you can use it. Je-Ne-Viv starts runs with the starting weapon called the Shadow Servant. This weapon shoots out small shadow snakes that explode when they hit enemies. This weapon can be evolved into the Ophion by reaching +8 on it and having +8 Skull O’Maniac.

Alongside the starting weapon Je-Ne-Viv starts with a special passive that says “It will literally eat the world.” This passive gives Je-Ne-Viv an aura called Insatiable which creates a dark aura around it similar to Garlic. This aura deals damage and triggers a massive explosion over time. This character’s starting stats (without any buffs) are:

• Max Health: 250.
• Armor: +5
• Might: +50%.
• Magnet: +50%.
• Greed: +50%.
• Reroll: +7.
