How to Unlock Cosmo in Vampire Survivors

In Vampire Survivors there is a character named Cosmo that players can unlock by completing a specific set of steps on the Cappella Magna map. These steps are somewhat odd, so I will be walking you through them below. Continue reading to learn how to unlock Cosmo in Vampire Survivors.

Steps to Unlock Cosmo

To unlock this special bird character you need to complete a number of steps on the stage Cappella Magna. These steps are somewhat convoluted, but fairly simple to do. Shout out to the game’s Discord for finding the steps and publishing them (specifically user r0b1n0s). The steps to unlock Cosmo are as follows:

1. Pick a character that has 0 Golden Eggs (easiest is Exdash or Toastie, since they start with a bird weapon).
2. Pick stage Cappella Magna.
3. Level up and unlock Ebony Wings and Peachone for your character.
4. Head up to the NFT on the map.
5. Pick up NFT.
6. If you have both birds and have picked up the NFT, the gate below will open.
7. Go through the gate to reach Cosmo.
8. Touch Cosmo to unlock.
9. Return to Character Selection screen and purchase Cosmo to fully unlock.

The steps are fairly simple, but somewhat confusing. If you follow the steps above you shouldn’t face any issues unlocking this special character. If you wish to see the steps in action, watch the video of my run linked above to see it done.

Cosmo Starting Weapon & Passive

Cosmo is an interesting character for a couple of reasons. The first reason is that it start with two weapons: Peachone and Ebony Wings. The second reason is that these weapons don’t occupy any Weapon Slots. Alongside the two starting weapons Cosmo has an interesting passive. Cosmo gains +1 Recovery and +1% Luck every level. Gains +1 Revival every 100 Levels. Has hidden weapons (mentioned earlier). The starting stats for this character are:

• Max Health – 20.
• Recovery – 1.
• Movespeed – +30%.
• Revival – +1.
• Luck – +20%.
