How to Restore Malenia Great Rune in Elden Ring
In the Haligtree location in Elden Ring you will encounter a boss named Malenia. Malenia is one of the big bosses, so when she’s defeated she drops a Great Rune. Where to Restore Malenia’s Great Rune
When you defeat Malenia you receive Malenia’s Great Rune. Open your inventory and read the Great Rune description. This description gives you the location of the tower we must visit to restore this rune. The tower is called the Isolated Divine Tower and it lays beyond the lost great bridge.
Use the Chest Portal in the Tower of Return
Before you can actually go to the tower you need to warp to a new location. The warp gate we need to use is located inside of Leyndell, Ashen Capital. However, to get there we need to go to the Tower of Return in the Weeping Peninsula region. Go to this tower and head to the very top. At the top you will find a transporter chest. Use this chest. Alternatively you can warp to the Divine Bridge Site of Grace if you’ve been there already.
After being teleported via the chest you are in a new area of the Leyndell, Ashen Capital. Run forward and go up the stairs. Go into the next section and there is a giant on the ground. Run left and you will find the teleporter. Go through the teleported to reach the Isolated Divine Tower.
Reach the Top of the Isolated Divine Tower
At the tower walk forward and open the doors. Walk forward and get on the elevator. Ride the elevator up to the top of the tower. Run forward, grab the Site of Grace, head to the right and go up the stairs. Go up the stairs until you reach the top of the tower. Approach the orb in the middle of the tower and interact with it to restore Malenia’s Great Rune.
Outside of the Leyndell leave the city via the east road. This road leads to an elevator. Instead of riding the elevator down. Turn to the southeast and you will see an entrance. Go to this entrance and begin to cross the bridge. As you cross the bridge darkness will descend around you and you will be transported to a boss arena.
Once you’ve restored the Great Rune you are free to use it. To do this sit at a Site of Grace. Interact with the Great Runes option. You can equip Mogh’s Great Rune to Attacks recover HP after damage is taken. To trigger the effect of the Great Rune you then need to use a Rune Arc item. Each time you die you have to repeat the Rune Arc step.
