Complete Projects for Tom Nook and Co

On your island there are a few major projects you can complete as a sort of main story-line. These projects are all aimed around making the deserted island less deserted. The projects you need to complete include the following:

  1. Museum.
  2. Shop.
  3. Three Houses.

Complete all of the above mentioned projects for Tom Nook and you will trigger a renovation on the Island Resident Services tent. This renovation turns the tent into an actual building. This new building takes two IRL days to complete.

How to Get Isabelle to Move In?

Once renovations on the Resident Services tent are complete you will notice Tom Nook makes a few new announcements during his daily news segment. The most important announcement to us is Isabelle moving to the island. Isabelle moves to the island as an employee of Tom Nook. She can be found inside the Resident Services Building.

From the Resident Services building Isabelle will run the town/island side of things allowing you to do the following things:

  • Change Island Tune.
  • Change Island Flag.
  • Discuss other residents.

Alongside providing these services Isabelle also begins to do the daily news. This means you will no longer see Tom Nook when you start a new day, but rather Isabelle.
