Honkai Star Rail Grinding in the Dark Chaves
In Honkai Star Rail there are daily missions that players can complete each day to earn Credits. These daily missions come from a variety of NPCs in the game. One NPC that can give you a daily mission is Chaves. Chaves is a member of the Rightful Rights Society. He asks for your help taking a photo of him. Note: This daily mission features multiple possible versions. Once you’ve completed the Old Goethe starting mission you will receive a random daily mission from one of four different NPCs. This guide is for Chaves request.
Where to Start Grinding in the Dark (Chaves)
When the daily mission Grinding in the Dark is active you will need to check the noticeboard in the Administrative District. Go to the location shown on the map above and Investigate the noticeboard there. You will receive a request from Chaves. This unlocks the first objective of the daily mission.
Talk to Chaves About His Request
To help Chaves with his request you need to first gather more information from him. This means you need to find and speak to Chaves in Administrative District. Thankfully for us, Chaves is close by. From the noticeboard head north to fountain by the entrance to the museum. Speak to him there and say “I’ll help you exercise your rightful rights!” when prompted. Chaves will then ask you to get a take a photo of him.
Take a Photo of Chaves
Once Chaves has made the request of you, you need to complete it. To take a photo of Chaves pull out your camera and frame it on him so it says Target Found. Once you see that message you will know the photo is good. Snap a quick picture of Chaves.
Hand the Photo to Chaves
Once you’ve taken the photo of Chaves you need to give it to him. To do this approach Chaves and speak to him. Choose the “I took the pictures.” dialogue option to give him the photo. Chaves will then thank you for your efforts and the mission ends.
For completing this mission you receive 5,000 Credits. By advancing the Grinding in the Dark questline, you also gain the ability to immediately complete any additional parts that may be added in the future.
