GTA Online Yeti Hunt Guide
The holiday season is in full swing in GTA Online and with it comes a new event called Yeti Hunt. Yeti Hunt allows players to find clues across Los Santos that lead to an interaction with the mysterious Yeti creature. What is the Yeti Hunt Event in GTA Online
The Yeti Hunt event is a special winter activity in GTA Online. It involves tracking down five clues in the Raton Canyon & Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness areas. Once you gather all five clues, you can encounter the Yeti between 9 PM and 6 AM. Completing the Yeti Hunt rewards you with the Yeti Outfit, GTA$100,000, and 5000 RP.
Keep in mind you can complete this event in any type of session, either with your friends or solo. An easy approach is to run an invite-only lobby to avoid griefers or other players pursuing clues simultaneously.
Yeti Clue 1 Location: Raton Canyon #1
The first clue is located in the Raton Canyon. Head to the map marker shown above. Here, you will find a bridge with a car wreck beneath it. Inspect the car wreck to acquire the first Yeti clue.
Yeti Clue 2 Location: Raton Canyon #2
The second clue is located in the Raton Canyon. Head to the map marker shown above. Here, you will find a parked car, a broken tree, and body parts on the ground. Inspect the body parts to acquire the second Yeti clue.
Yeti Clue 3 Location: Raton Canyon #3
The third clue is located in the Raton Canyon named area. Head to the map marker shown above. At this location you will be along the north river banks. Along the banks look for the carcass of a dead deer. View the deer to acquire the third Yeti clue.
Yeti Clue 4 Location: Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness #1
The fourth clue is located in the Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness named area. Head to the map marker shown above. At this location you will find a bloodied tent. Approach the tent and inspect it. Doing this acquires the fourth Yeti clue.
Yeti Clue 5 Location: Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness #2
The fifth clue is in the Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness named area. Head to the map marker shown above. At this location you will find a a car wreck with an torn shirt on the ground near it. Approach the torn shirt and inspect it. Doing this acquires the fifth Yeti clue.
Defeat the Yeti to Earn Rewards
Upon collecting all five clues listed above, the Yeti will attack you. A red skull will appear on your map, and a warning will flash. Equip your strongest weapon and defeat the Yeti. Upon defeating the Yeti, you will complete this event.
For successfully defeating the Yeti, you receive the Yeti Outfit (found in your closet under Outfits: Festive), $50,000, and RP.
