Everything You Need to Know About the Grand Appreciation Fest in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne
Capcom is celebrating two years of Monster Hunter World with the Grand Appreciation Fest, offering players a chance to earn exclusive rewards and revisit past events. The Grand Appreciation Fest runs from January 24 to February 13, and offers a host of limited-time content, including seasonal items, new quests, and a special login bonus. Here’s everything you need to know to get the most out of this celebratory event.
Special Daily Bonuses
Every day you log in during the Grand Appreciation Fest, you’ll receive the following bonuses:
- 1x Gratitude Ticket (for seasonal event armor sets)
- 3x Lucky Vouchers
- 3x Snowman (throw snowballs during free time)
These items stack, so you can collect them over the course of the event and use them at your convenience.
New Poogie Costume
Your Poogie can now don the Cosmic Wisepig outfit! This new costume unlocks permanently after the event, and you can change your Poogie’s costume by interacting with it and selecting Change Clothes.
Past & New Events
The Grand Appreciation Fest brings back many past events that were available throughout Monster Hunter World. If you missed any, now is your chance to complete quests and get rewards like the Aloy gear or the Street Fighter gear. Here are some old quests to catch up on:
- Code: Red (Devil May Cry Armor)
- A Rush of Blood (Mega Man Palico Set)
- Lessons of the Wild (Horizon Zero Dawn Palico Set) – PS4 Only
- Every Hunter’s Dream (Wyvern Ignition Greatsword)

Two new event armor sets are available for your Hunter and Palico:
- Astral Alpha+ Armor Set (Hunter)
- Gratitude’s Gift, Gratitude’s Blessing, Divine Blessing skills
- Requires Gratitude Tickets, Gracium, Purecrystal, and Monster Toughbone
- Palico Space Set Alpha+
- Requires Gratitude Tickets and Purecrystal
VIP Gratitude Tickets
Earn VIP Gratitude Tickets by wearing the Astral Alpha+ Armor set and completing other hunters’ events. Use them to unlock:
- Layered Armor: Astral (5x Gratitude Tickets)
- Pendants: Sky Blue Silverwisp, Peach Silverwisp, and others (2x VIP)
New Guild Card Background, Pose, and Titles
Celebrate the Grand Appreciation Fest with the new Guild Card items:
- Background: Time Etched in the Stars
- Pose: Timeless Meeting
- Titles: 2nd Anniversary, Grand Appreciation, Adulation, Banquet, Much Obliged
Vendor Sales
During the event, vendors will be offering items at a discounted price. Stock up on useful items like Large Barrel Bombs and other essentials at lower costs.
The Gathering Hub Gets Festive
The Gathering Hub is beautifully decorated for the Grand Appreciation Fest, featuring costumed Palicos and other characters. Enjoy the winter-alien-themed decorations, and try the special Grand Appreciation Platter from the Canteen.
