Destroy All Humans (2020) Achievements Guide
There are a total of 40 unlockable achievements players can complete while playing through Destroy All Humans. These achievements are split into missable and unmissable types. To keep track of both types and how to unlock them we’ve split the guide into two parts: unmissable and missable. Check out the respective parts of guide on how to complete them.
Unmissable Destroy All Humans Achievements
Unmissable achievements in Destroy All Humans (2020) are achievements you unlock naturally while playing through the game’s main story. The bulk of these achievements are tied to starting new locations. Alongside these location based achievements there are also a few tied to combat and defeating the game’s three bosses. All told there are 13 unmissable achievements you will collect.
1. Goin’ to Seed: Invade Turnipseed Farm.
- How to Complete: Start the Turnipseed Farm level of the game to unlock.
2. Brain Drain: Consume a human brain to kickstart shield regeneration.
- How to Complete: This will be completed during the Turnipseed Farm mission as it is one of the level objectives.
3. Rockwell Death Knell: Invade Rockwell.
- How to Complete: Start the Rockwell level of the game to unlock.
4. Covert Thoughts: Stay covert by scanning primitive human thoughts.
- How to Complete: During the first Rockwell mission you will need to Cortex Scan a number of people inside the fair. Doing this the first time pops the achievement.
5. Immodesta: Invade Santa Modesta.
- How to Complete: Start the Santa Modesta level of the game to unlock.
6. Reduce, Abuse, Recycle: Transmogrify an object to replenish your ammunition.
- How to Complete: During the Santa Modesta mission you will receive the Disintegrator Ray. Use this weapon until you run out of ammo to be prompted to Transmogrify an object to replenish your ammunition. Follow the prompts to get this achievement.
7. Simply Repulsive: Use your saucer’s Repulse-O-Tron to fend off homing missiles.
- How to Complete: During the fourth Santa Modesta mission you will receive the Repulse-O-Tron. Use it when prompted to avoid getting hit by a missile.
8. Area of Dissect: Invade Area 42.
- How to Complete: Start the Area 42 level of the game to unlock.
9. Union Busting: Invade Union Town.
- How to Complete: Start the Union Town level of the game to unlock.
10. Capitol Punishment: Invade Capitol City.
- How to Complete: Start the Capitol City level of the game to unlock.
11. Unilateral Disagreement: Destroy a certain irritating simian warlord once and for all.
- How to Complete: Defeat the Robo-Armquist boss at the end of Mission 18 to unlock this achievement.
12. Impeached: Destroy the pathetic human attempt at a robot overlord.
- How to Complete: Defeat the Robo-Prez boss in Mission 22 to unlock this achievement.
13. For the Glory of the Furon Empire: Defeat humanity’s last hope and initiate the subjugation of the species.
- How to Complete: Defeat Silhouette boss at the end of Mission 22.
Missable Destroy All Humans Achievements
There are 27 missable achievements in Destroy All Humans (2020). These achievements involve completing certain combat feats, challenge feats, and secret location activities. While I mention these achievements as missable you can complete them at anytime by dropping into the exploration mode on a level. This allows you to play the level as a sandbox where you can do combat achievements and challenges to your hearts content.
14. When Two Humans Collide: Use PK to destroy a human with another human.
- How to Complete: While out in the world use your PK ability to pick up a human, throw that human into another human to get this achievement.
15. Harvest Season: Recover a Furon Probe.
- How to Complete: Furon Probes are hidden collectibles you will find in each level. To collect the probes you need walk into the probe. To get this achievement all you need to do is find at least one.
16. Down to the Challenge: Revisit a missionless invasion site and complete a challenge there.
- How to Complete: On the mission select screen you can replay locations you’ve completed the mission in. Simply return to one of the missions and complete any of the four challenges: Armageddon, Abduction, Race, and Rampage. Achievement can be unlocked as soon as you complete Turnipseed Farm (replay and play the Abduction challenge).
17. A Pox on Your Gear: Upgrade Crypto at Pox’s Lab in the mothership.
- How to Complete: After you’ve completed the first mission, Turnipseed Farm you will have earned some DNA. Spend this DNA at Pox’s Lab on Crypto to upgrade your Zap-O-Matic.
18. And a Pox to Your Saucer Too: Upgrade your saucer at Pox’s Lab in the mothership.
- How to Complete: After you’ve completed the first mission, Turnipseed Farm you will have earned some DNA. Spend this DNA at Pox’s Lab on Crypto to upgrade your saucer.
19. Man’s Inhumanity to Man: Throw something into something else with a human-made explosive.
- How to Complete: Pick up something explosive like a red barrel and throw it into a crowd of humans to get this achievement. Easily done during the Rockwell mission when you have to destroy the fair buildings.
20. Rejected for Probing: Throw something into something else with the saucer’s Abducto Beam.
- How to Complete: Pick up an item like a car or barrel and throw it into something else like a building to have this achievement pop. Easily done during the Rockwell mission when you have to destroy the fair buildings.
21. A Swift Harvest: Accelerate Brain Extract or Transmog by mashing that button like you mean it.
- How to Complete: When you use either Brain Extract or Transmog mash the button instead of holding it. When you do this for the first time it will trigger the achievement.
22. No Time to Waste: Destroy a human with a weapon and another with a psy ability at the same time.
- How to Complete: While shooting your weapon use an ability on another target. Make sure you kill both humans while doing this.
23. Fly, My Pretties: Throw a human into the air and juggle them.
- How to Complete: Use your Psychokinesis ability to throw an enemy straight up into the air. Wait for it to come back down and use the ability again to catch them to get this achievement.
24. As is Tradition: Abduct a cow with your saucer.
- How to Complete: Advance the story until you unlock the abduction ability in your saucer. Once you have this ability head into a free roam level with cows (Turnipseed Farm is good). Jump in your saucer and use the abduct ability to pick up a cow.
25. Champion of Abduction: Ace an Abduction challenge with a three-star rating.
- How to Complete: In each level there is an Abduction challenge for you to complete in explore mode. Complete one of these with three-stars to get this achievement.
26. Furon Faster Race: Ace a Race challenge with a three-star rating.
- How to Complete: In each level there is a Race challenge for you to complete in explore mode. Complete one of these with three-stars to get this achievement. Easiest to do this after you’ve upgraded Dash.
27. The Art of Armageddon: Ace an Armageddon challenge with a three-star rating.
- How to Complete: In each level there is an Armageddon challenge for you to complete in explore mode. Complete one of these with three-stars to get this achievement. Easiest to do this after you’ve upgraded your saucer.
28. Righteous Rampage: Ace a Rampage challenge with a three-star rating.
- How to Complete: In each level there is a Rampage challenge for you to complete in explore mode. Complete one of these with three-stars to get this achievement. Easiest to do this after you’ve upgraded Crypto.
29. Jerk of All Trades: Obtain at least a two-star rating for each challenge type.
- How to Complete: This will unlock if you complete one of each of the four challenges at two-stars or higher. Getting the previous four challenges will unlock this achievement.
30. Gas-Guzzler Guzzler: Abduct and drain a vehicle to replenish your saucer’s shields.
- How to Complete: When in the saucer use the Abduction ability to pick up a car. When picked up drain the car using Y to replenish your shield.
31. Invasion of the Body Swappers: Try out a new look for Crypton in mothership’s archives.
- How to Complete: As you complete various challenges and activities in Destroy All Humans you will unlock skins for Crypto. Head to the Mothership’s archives and select the Skin Selector. Equip a new skin on Crypto to unlock.
32. Furonigami: Explore the offbeat parts of the mothership.
- How to Complete: Access the mothership’s archives and select Furonigami for this achievement to pop.
33. Grade A Upgrade: Fully upgrade one of the branches of a weapon or ability.
- How to Complete: This should occur naturally as you progress through the story. Continue to upgrade Cryo until you reach max upgrade for one of the branches of a weapon or ability.
34. Hot to Trot: Evade a rocket by dashing.
- How to Complete: As you progress the story-line of Destroy All Humans you will encounter rocket launcher wielding enemies (like on mission 11). When you encounter a rocker wielding soldier let them shoot at you then use your dash to avoid the rocket.
35. Do Feed the Sharks: Demonstrate Furon free spirit near a warning placed by the human authorities.
- How to Complete: In the Santa Modesta mission there is a sign on the beach next to a life guard building that says “Do Not Feed the Sharks.” Use PK by the sign to throw a human into the ocean.
36. Return of the Clone II – Reloaded: Re-visit a mission in the mother ship archive’s Holopox Deck.
- How to Complete: From the Mothership access Archives > Holopox Deck. Replay a mission from this menu to get this achievement to pop.
37. Hop the Hoop: Display Furonic aeronautic prowess by soaring through giant human pastry without soiling your feet.
- How to Complete: In the Santa Modesta mission there is a donut shop north of the radio tower called Tasty Pete’s Donut Shop. Go there and jetpack through the giant donut over the entrance to unlock this achievement.
38. Pyrokinesis: Set something on fire, then use it to destroy a hapless human.
- How to Complete: Head to Turnipseed Farm once you have the Disintegrator Ray weapon. Use this weapon to light a bale of hay on fire. Throw that bale of hay at a human.
39. Ace of Space: Ace all Challenges.
- How to Complete: Get three stars in all 24 challenges in the game. Easily done after beating the game and leveling up your different upgrades.
40. The Mandatory Option: Complete all optional mission objectives (Use the Holopoxdeck if you have to).
- How to Complete: Do every optional mission objective in the 22 missions in the game. Replay missions via the Holopoxdeck on the motherhsip to get them all. You need to complete the mission for the optional objective to count.
That’s all 40 achievements players can unlock in Destroy All Humans (2020). Overall these achievements are relatively easily to unlock they just require a bit of time. To fully complete it took me close to 20 hours. Difficulty wise it is fairly easy to complete just takes a bit of time.
