Dead Space Remake Suits
In the Dead Space Remake there are a variety of suits for Isaac to wear throughout the game. In the gamer there are 12 Suits (5 with boosts; 7 that are cosmetic) players can use. The list below features all available Dead Space Remake suits and how to get them.
Suit Level 1-5 (Starting Suit)
The main suit you wear in the game starts at Suit Level 1. You are wearing it the moment you begin playing as Isaac. Once you reach a Shop you can upgrade it to higher levels by spending money. You will only have Level 2 available for purchase. To unlock the other tiers you need to find schematics hidden in the different chapters of the game. The levels are as follows:
Level | Cost | Bonus |
---|---|---|
2 | $10,000 | 18 Slots; 5%+ Armor |
3 | $20,000 (Requires Intermediate Engineer Rig Schematic) | 22 Slots; 10%+ Armor |
4 | $35,000 (Requires Intermediate Minter Rig Schematic) | 26 Slots; 15%+ Armor |
5 | $60,000 (Requires Advanced Engineering Rig Schematic) | 30 Slots; 20%+ Armor |
Once you’ve found a schematic listed above the next step is to visit any Shop. When you visit the Shop the schematic will unlock the new Suit Level for sale in the Shop’s Shop tab. Simply purchase the next level to unlock the new suit.
Each time you upgrade your suit a level you will see some visual changes to it. These visual changes usually involve more armor plates being added on the arms, legs, back and chest. The most striking of the visual changes is Suit Level 6.
Suit Level 6 (Starting Suit)
The final starting suit upgrade that players can unlock is Suit Level 6. This final suit level is unlocked through a different method than finding schematics in the different chapters. To gain access to this suit upgrade you need to complete a full playthrough of the game on any difficulty. Upon completing the game you will unlock Suit Level 6.
