4 Secrets You Didn’t Know About in Poppy Playtime Chapter 5

MOB Games is back at it again with the secrets in Poppy Playtime Chapter 5: Broken Things. From subtle nods to hidden rooms, here are the top secrets you probably didn’t know were lurking in the shadows.

1. Limon the Lemon Makes His Return

Remember that random googly-eyed lemon from Chapter 1? Well, the community’s obsession with Limon basically forced MOB Games to make him a recurring character. True to form, he’s popping up again in Chapter 5.

If you’re hunting for Limon, you’ll want to head straight to the Research & Development wing. He’s tucked away in a secret room there, but if you’re having trouble spotting him, check out our Limon guide for the exact location!

There’s a bonus, too: completing a specific ‘reuniting quest’ in Chapter 5 unlocks a unique Limon Easter egg that you won’t want to miss.

2. Zeff Was Here Graffiti

In the Engineering Workshop in the Research & Development area there is a fun bit of graffiti that players can find. This graffiti is in the second area and requires using the blacklight to see.

The graffiti is a simple message that says “Zeff was here” along with a Yarnaby face. This message is a nod to Seth Belanger one of the co-founders of Poppy Playtime maker MOB Games.

3. Pianosaurus Makes a Dancing Return

Remember Pianosaurus? Back in Chapter 4, he was on screen for all of five seconds before Doey absolutely wrecked him. Fans were pretty upset—it felt like he was ‘done dirty’ before we even got to know him! Luckily, MOB Games listened to the feedback and brought Pianosaurus back through a really cool Easter egg.

To unlock the Pianosaurus Easter egg, you’ll need to track down 8 hidden glitched hand sensors scattered throughout Chapter 5. Once you’ve activated all of them, Pianosaurus will spawn in Reanimation to perform a special song and dance just for you! Check out our Pianosaurus guide for the exact sensor locations.

4. Secret Unused Death & Doctor Cutscenes

What would a Poppy Playtime Chapter be without some unused cutscenes to make players wildly speculate and craft their own theory?

Like previous chapters, Chapter 5 features a few video cutscenes that weren’t used but still ended up in the game files. The two videos players have discovered show both an unused death scene and a very interesting cut scene featuring The Doctor’s Eye.
