Dead Space Remake Armor Schematics
In the Dead Space Remake there 5 levels of suits players can purchase to improve storage capacity and armor. To be able to purchase these suit upgrades players must first discover schematics hidden across the different chapters in the game. IMPORTANT: If you didn’t collect the armor Schematic during each Chapter listed below you can still collect them. Once you reach Chapter 11 you can use the Tram to visit every location on the ship, allowing you to back track to get them. The guide below presents the armor schematics in the order you encounter them during the main story.
Chapter 4 Armor Schematic: Intermediate Engineer Rig
The first of the armor schematics that you can acquire is the Intermediate Engineer Rig. This schematic is located in Chapter 4: Obliteration Imminent. In this chapter you have go to the ADS Cannons. In the hallway leading to the cannons you can find the EVA Prep Room. Enter this room and you will find the Intermediate Engineer Rig schematic.
Take the schematics to the shop to unlock Suit Level 3. The suit upgrade costs $20,000 to purchase. When the upgrade is purchased your suit visually changes along with unlocking 18 inventory slots and 5% more armor.
Chapter 7 Armor Schematic: Intermediate Miner Rig
Make your way through Chapter 7: Into the Void until you reach the section where you defend Nicole. After this section is complete you enter the Equipment Workshop where you get the SOS Beacon. On the bench to the left of the beacon is the Intermediate Miner Rig schematic.
Take the schematics to the shop to unlock Suit Level 4. The suit upgrade costs $35,000 to purchase. When the upgrade is purchased your suit visually changes along with unlocking 26 inventory slots and 15% more armor.
Chapter 10 Armor Schematic: Advanced Engineering Ring
The last set of armor schematics for players to find is located in Chapter 10: End of Days. During this chapter you go to the Crew Decks area. In this areas you want to visit the Locker Room and Showers in the Zero-G Gym area. In locker room you will find the Advanced Engineering Rig schematic on a bench.
Take the schematics to the shop to unlock Suit Level 5. The suit upgrade costs $60,000 to purchase. When the upgrade is purchased your suit visually changes along with unlocking 30 inventory slots and 20% more armor.
Alongside the armor there are a few special cosmetic Suits that players can acquire to change the look of Isaac. If that’s not enough in the unlockable department players can find special Marker Fragments to unlock the game’s alternative ending.
