Purchase Venomous Tentacula from Dogweed & Deathcap
The easiest method to acquiring Venomous Tentacula is to purchase the grown plants from the store called Dogweed & Deathcap on the north side of Hogsmeade. This special shop sells a variety of plants including Venomous Tentacula. To purchase a Venomous Tentacula simply speak to the shopkeeper and select it from the Combat Tools section. Each plant costs a total of 600 Galleons to purchase.
Grow Venomous Tentacula Plants in Room of Requirement
If you don’t simply want to buy Venomous Tentacula for use you can also grow your own plants. To do this make your way back to Dogweed & Deathcap. Instead of buying the Combat Tools purchase the Venomous Tentacula Seed Packet for 1,050 Galleons.
Once you have the Venomous Tentacula Seed you need to plant it and let it grow. To do this make your way to the Room of Requirement. To grow the Venomous Tentacula Plant requires a Potting Table with at least large pot to grow it in (schematic purchased from Tomes and Scrolls in Hogsmeade). When the seed is planted it takes 15 minutes to yield one plant. You can use Fertilizer to increase your yield per pot.

A good place to look for the plant is in the Greenhouses on the Hogwarts school grounds. The southwestern Greenhouse contains a number of plants that you can collect (if you haven’t done so already). Simply run around the Greenhouse and take the Venomous Tentacula plants there.
