Where to Find the Broom Race in Dying Light 2

There are a number of side activities for players to take part in in Dying Light 2. Many of these side activities are marked on your map while some are hidden. Some of the more interesting hidden activities include a few races using different modes of transportation. One mode of transportation is the Broom. Learn where to find the Broom race in Dying Light 2.

Where to Find the Broom Race

To start this special hidden race go to the top of the VNC Tower. On the roof head to the east side and look down for a building that has a yellow crane on its roof. Jump and paraglide down to the crane. Next to the cab where the operator sites there is an area you can crouch to get inside. Here you will find some mushrooms. Turn on the mushrooms, by pressing and holding interact, and they will grow bigger. Keep turning the mushrooms on until you can use them.

Complete the Baba Yaga Race

Using the grown mushrooms allows you to compete in a parkour race called the Baba Yaga. In this race you ride on a Broomstick. To complete the race you must pass through the 19 different rings as fast as possible. There are three medals:

  • Gold: 1:10 = 1097 Agility XP.
  • Silver: 1:30 = 548 Agility XP.
  • Bronze: 2:30 = 274 Agility XP.

You can compete in this race as often as you’d like until you’ve hit the Gold medal mark. The Broom is one of the special Easter Egg items that is referenced in the game’s code. Whether or not this rideable item is available outside of this race is currently unknown.
