Where to Find Mapping Cave Systems in Stardew Valley

In Stardew Valley, players can discover various hidden books scattered throughout the valley. One such hidden book is Mapping Cave Systems. To add it to their Books of Power collection, players must find it. If you’re wondering where to find Mapping Cave Systems in Stardew Valley, check out our guide below.

Where is the Mapping Cave Systems Book?

To find the Mapping Cave Systems book, you need to gain access to the back room of the Adventurer’s Guild, located east of The Mines. Players must complete a quest called Initiation to gain access to this building. Following Initiation, you can visit this building every day except festival days between 2pm to 2am.

Once you have access to the building, you need to complete a specific requirement to enter the back room: defeat 1000 monsters. Head to the Mine, Desert, or Volcano dungeons and defeat enemies there. Once you’ve slain 1000, return to the Adventurer’s Guild and enter the back room. Go to the right side of the room and interact with the blue and red present to receive the Mapping Cave Systems book.

What Does the Mapping Cave Systems Book Do?

The Mapping Cave Systems book is one of 19 Books of Power players can collect in the game. When you read it, the book unlocks a special perk that gives the player a 50% discount on Marlon’s item retrieval service. Once the book is read once, the perk it unlocks is permanently available to the player.
