Once you get a boat Abby and Yara will land on the mysterious Seraphite island. On this island they are hoping to find Yara’s brother. While you are searching for Yara’s brother you should also be searching for collectibles. In The Island there are 8 total collectibles for players to find. To find all 8 collectibles use our TLOU 2 The Island collectibles locations guide below.

The Island Collectibles List (8 Total)

  • Artifacts: 4.
  • Coins: 3.
  • Workbenches: 1.

Like most collectibles in this game you will want to grab them in the order they are listed below as you can very easily get gated from returning to an area. If for some reason you do miss a collectible you can replay a chapter from the Main Menu > Story > Chapters screen.

The Island Coin #1: Idaho Location

Follow Yara until you reach a ladder leading up to a bridge. Climb up the ladder to the top of the bridge and look to the left to find a truck with its back open. Climb in the back and go all the way to the end of the box to get the Idaho Coin (1/3).

The Island Artifact #1: WLF Scout Journal Location

Head in the opposite direction from the truck and you will see a body hanging from a highway sign. To the right of this body there is a corpse on the ground. Inspect the corpse on the ground to get the WLF Scout Journal (1/4).

The Island Coin #2: North Carolina Location

Continue to follow Yara along the path until you see a car on your left (near a waterfall). Go to the driver’s side of the car to get the North Carolina Coin (2/3) off a book on the ground there.

Make your way to the first village by pushing the cart and jumping on top of it. Once inside head to the first big hut you see on your left. Go up to the loft by way of the ladder on the back of the building. Make your way to the end of the loft and grab the Montana Coin (3/3) off the crate there.

The Island Artifact #3: Mournful Prayer Note Location

Exit the village and head along the path overlooking the ocean. As you walk along this path you will see Isaac’s boat coming. Continue along the path past the watchtower. Ignore the hut on your left and instead enter the hut further down on the right. Inside this hut is a shrine. On the right wall of this hut you will find the Mournful Prayer Note (3/4).

The Island Artifact #4: Young Seraphite’s Journal Location

Head over to the hut we previously ignored and go inside it. In the first room on the leftside of the room there is a bed. On this bed is the Young Seraphite’s Journal (4/4).

The Island Workbench Location

In the room after the kid’s bed you will find The Island Workbench (1/1). Be sure to interact with the bench to claim it as a collectible.

That’s all the collectibles for players to find in The Island mission of The Last of Us 2. At the end of this mission you will start the next mission called The Escape. This mission contains a handful of collectibles.
