In Steal an Egg Fuse Machines let you combine pets into a new egg with a chance at a stronger pet. This guide covers how fusing works, where to find the machines, and the hidden Fuse Altars that guarantee some of the most powerful pets in the game.
Why Fuse Pets?
Fusing is one of the fastest ways to turn pets you already own into something stronger. Instead of hoping for a lucky hatch, you can trade in duplicates for a shot at a better pet, or in some cases a guaranteed one.
There are two ways to fuse, and they work very differently:
Fuse Machine
Put in three identical pets and you get an egg with a chance at a stronger pet. The upgrade isn’t guaranteed, but you can use the machine as often as you like, so it’s a good way to put spare duplicates to work.
Fuse Altars
These hidden altars always give you a stronger, unique pet. The catch is that each altar can only be used once per account, and you’ll need another player to complete the fuse with you.
Fuse Machine: Spawn

The main Fuse Machine is in Spawn, to the left of the sell booth. Walk up to it and press the Fuse Pets prompt to open a menu with three empty slots. Place three identical pets in the slots, then press the big green button to pay the fee and create the egg.
Each fuse is a gamble, but it gives you a shot at a stronger pet than the three you put in.
Fuse Altars
Alongside the Fuse Machine there are hidden Fuse Altars that can be used once per account. These altars require fusing your pets with another player’s. Upon using a Fuse Altar, both players each get the new egg.
There are currently two Fuse Altars in the game in Angels & Demons and the Enchanted Forest.
Fuse Altar: Angels & Demons

There is a Fuse Altar located in the Angels & Demons biome. It can be accessed in Angel, Demons, or Angels & Demons.
To reach the room jump into the water/lava falling on the wall under the statue about halfway through the biome. You will enter a secret room with the altar inside.
The altar in this room has two possible fuse combinations:
- Eternal Fusion: Pegasus + Skeleton Horse = Equinox
- Divine Fusion: Archangel + World Burner = Aetheron
You need one of the pets in a combination and a partner who has the other. Use the in-game global chat to find someone, or drop a comment below.
Remember, you can only complete each combination once, so use your best pet (check weight and Mutation) to get the most out of your input.
Fuse Altar: Enchanted Forest

There is another Fuse Altar located in the Enchanted Forest biome. This altar is accessible by completing the questline that gets you Cricket’s Banjo.
Once you have the Banjo you can use it to play a song in the Enchanted Tree to create a bridge to the altar room.
The altar in this room has one possible fuse combination:
- Celestial Sunlion + Royal Skywhale = Spirit World Guardian
Both players need to bring both pets. To complete the fuse, you’ll need a partner who also has a Celestial Sunlion and a Royal Skywhale.
That’s all you need to know about the Fuse mechanic in Steal an Egg. Use this mechanic to create the most powerful pets in the game.
