Steal an Egg’s Halloween event continues with Part 2 (Update 10), live from October 24, 2026. Where Part 1 opened the Halloween Dimension with its three biomes, Part 2 opens the Abandoned Manor itself, adds a Pumpkin King boss fight with a 65-unlock Boss Mastery pass, and hides a secret fusion inside the manor. Here is everything new, and how to unlock it.
How to Unlock the Abandoned Manor Gate
The Manor Gate at the end of the Abandoned Manor biome was locked in Part 1. You can now open it thanks to the release of Part 2 and the addition of the Manor Key!
Opening the Manor Gate is a quest chain that builds on Part 1’s quest, so finish this first if you haven’t: complete Echo’s quest to get the Phantom Express Ticket (see our Dog Quest guide).
How to Get the Manor Key
Once you have the Phantom Express Train Ticket, board the Phantom Express to visit the Forgotten Town area.
In the Forgotten Town, make your way to the lake and look for a Green Whirlpool inside it. Walk into the whirlpool to teleport to a secret area: the Secret Fishing Area.
In the Secret Fishing Area, speak to the NPC named Gus. Gus has lost the Manor Key in the surrounding water.
Use your fishing rod to fish in the water until you get the key (might take a few casts). While you are trying to catch this key item you will earn Candy Corn, eggs, and sometimes the Spectral Mutation.
Once you have the Manor Key head through the green sewer pipe to reach the outside of the Abandoned Manor. Interact with the gate to open it and gain access to the Pumpkin Boss Fight Portal and the Abandoned Manor.
The Pumpkin Boss Fight
Outside the manor, you will find a portal you can use to visit the Pumpkin King boss fight. The boss fight runs twice an hour, at :15 and :45.
Each time you defeat the Pumpkin King boss, you earn a Mastery Point that applies to the Boss Mastery pass. There are 65 unlocks in the pass. The most important unlocks occur at:
- Bubblelord (3 kills)
- Coffin Crawler (10 kills)
- Bell Scream (17 kills)
- Phantom Banshee (30 kills)
- Vespera (45 kills)
- Pumpkin Scythe, a weapon (52 kills)
- Pumpkin Brute (65 kills)
Secret Co-Op Fusion: Cursed Monarch
Inside the Abandoned Manor, upstairs on the first floor, is a room with four pedestals. This room is the co-op Fuse Altar.
To use this altar you, and another player, need to bring the following:
- 2x Ghost Fish (Eternal, caught by fishing in the Haunted Swamp)
- 2x Voidseer Pumpkin (Divine, from Abandoned Manor biome egg)
Upon using the altar, you will receive a Cursed Monarch Egg. Hatch the egg to receive the Cursed Monarch pet.
