The Enchanted Forest update is now live in Steal an Egg. This update features the addition of a new biome, new pets, a new biome event, and secrets to uncover! New Biome: Enchanted Forest
The major addition in this update is a new biome called the Enchanted Forest. This biome is located directly after Angel/Demons and it has a recommended Speed of 50B. The boss of this area is a Celestial Sunlion.
8 New Eggs & Pets
In the Enchanted Forest there are 8 new eggs and 8 new pets for players to collect:
- Prism Gecko
- Petal Beetle
- Enchanted Bluejay
- Astral Jackalope
- Spirit Panda
- Starry Fox
- Celestial Sunlion
- Royal Skywhale
The Spirit Panda, Starry Fox, Celestial Sunlion, and Royal Skywhale are the rarer pets of the biome. The Celestial Sunlion and Royal Skywhale are the rarest of those four to spawn.
Wisp Quest
If you have the 50B (or more) speed you can complete a special Wisp quest in the Enchanted Forest. This quest tasks you with helping a Wisp grow/level-up.
To help the Wisp speak to it then complete 3 quests in its’ questline:
- Steal 20 Enchanted Forest eggs
- Fuse an Enchanted Forest Pet
- Steal any Eternal Egg
Completing the Wisp’s questline opens a door to a sub-area in the biome called the Enchanted Tree.
Enchanted Tree
The Enchanted Tree is home to a major event unlock and some new services. In the middle of the room is the Net. Pick up the Net to unlock the Butterfly Bloom event.
Alongside the Net you will find the Convert service and an Altar (Enchanted Mutation Shrine). Both have to do with the Butterfly Bloom event that I discuss later.
There is also a ramp in the tree you can use to go up. This upper section has to do with a hidden quest that earns you a Banjo.
Cricket’s Banjo & Two-Player Fuse Room
Cricket’s Banjo can be unlocked by accessing a special lounge area in the Enchanted Tree. The exact process is located in my how to get the Banjo guide.
The Banjo pulls double duty: equip it to play music, or swing it like a club to whack other players.
It also holds the key to a secret in the Enchanted Tree. Climb to the top and “play” the Banjo to conjure a bridge, which leads to a hidden room.
Inside that room sits a co-op fuse altar, where you and another player can fuse the Celestial Sunlion and Royal Skywhale together.
Butterfly Bloom Event
Once you have the Net you can take part in the Butterfly Bloom event. This event happens every 30 minutes (at :15/:45 every hour) and there is a notice in-game when it’s starting.
While the Butterfly Bloom event is running butterflies spawn in the Enchanted Forest biome. To take part in the event equip your Net and stand or run through the butterflies to collect them.
There are four rarities of butterflies to collect:
- Emerald
- Sapphire
- Amethyst
- Radiant (Rarest)
Butterflies you collect go into your inventory to spend whenever you’d like.
What to Do with Butterflies?
You can trade butterflies in in the Enchanted Tree. The can be converted to different rarities or spent on Enchanted Essence Mutations at the Altar.
Like previous events, you can farm as much as you’d like. The Enchanted Essence Mutation is a guaranteed mutation (100%) you can apply to any egg before it hatches.
