Stardew Valley Update 1.6 Release Date Revealed for PC

ConcernedApe took to Twitter today to reveal the Stardew Valley update 1.6 release date for PC. This new update brings a slew of bug fixes and new additions to the popular indie farming title. While the PC launch date has been set the release date for consoles and mobile have yet to be provided by the developer.

When Does Stardew Valley Update 1.6 Release

Stardew Valley update 1.6 will release on PC on March 19th. This makes the update’s PC release less than one month away. Both the console and mobile release will “follow as soon as possible” according to the game’s developer ConcernedApe.

It’s been almost a year since the 1.6 update for Stardew Valley was first revealed. Since its first look ConcernedApe has been sharing a variety of details about the upcoming update on X. These details included a list of things that would be added to the game including new festivals, new items, and new end-game content to complete.

Alongside the addition of new content ConcernedApe also highlighted the efforts going into 1.6 to make modding the game easier. There will also be a number of bug fixes to make the game play a bit smoother.

Stardew Valley is now over 8 years old. The wildly successful indie title has sold over 30 million copies. This success has spawned a number of side projects including a touring concert, a cookbook, and various merchandise for sale.

While ConcernedApe has been working on updates for Stardew Valley he also has another title in the works. The Haunted Chocolatier has been revealed by the developer and will be released some time in the future.
