Stardew Valley Leprechaun Hat: How to Get

Farmer wearing the Leprechaun Hat in Stardew Valley.

The Stardew Valley Leprechaun Hat is a special headwear obtained by finding a hidden pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. When worn, it changes the look of the farmer into a Leprechaun, resembling the mythical Irish figure. Learn more about this unique hat in our guide below.

How to Get the Leprechaun Hat

Pot of Gold at the top of the waterfall in Cindersnap Forest in Stardew Valley.
Locate the Pot of Gold and interact with it to get the hat.

To get the Leprechaun Hat, head to the south section of Cindersnap Forest near the Hat Mouse’s shack on Spring 17th. From the shack, walk east towards the waterfall’s edge. Look for the rainbow and pot of gold there. Interact with the pot of gold to receive 250g and the Leprechaun Hat.

You can equip the Leprechaun Hat by opening your inventory and dragging it into the hat slot. This action equips the hat on your farmer’s head, altering the appearance of your character.

You cannot sell the Leprechaun Hat, but you can choose to trash it if you no longer want it in your collection. If you do decide to get rid of it, simply wait until the following year to reacquire it.

Stardew Valley’s Update 1.6 introduced several new hats, including the Leprechaun Hat. For detailed information on all hats currently available in the game and how to obtain them, consult our Hats list.
