Secret Photo Op Locations in Spider-Man (ESU Suit Unlock)
Spider-Man features an interesting camera mechanic with which you can take photos of locations for points. These locations are marked on your map and are fairly easy to find. With that said, there are a number of Secret Photo Op locations which aren’t on your map, but photos of these locations can be taken to unlock the ESU Suit (an unlisted suit). To help you unlock this secret Spider-Man suit, I’ve put together a list of all the secret photo op locations in Spider-Man.
Secret Photo Op Locations in Spider-Man
Secret Photo Ops are hidden Landmarks that can be photographed for XP.
Secret Photo Ops are Landmarks that are unmarked on your map and can be photographed for 100 XP. Collecting all 50 of the Secret Photo Ops earns you the unlisted ESU suit which is Peter Parker in the Spider-Man man and university t-shirt. Normally you would need to wait for a level 50 suit mod to find all locations, but I’ve done the heavy lifting for you below. Secret Photo Ops are scattered throughout the various districts:
- Financial District = 8
- Chinatown = 8
- Greenwich = 3
- Hell’s Kitchen = 3
- Midtown = 4
- Upper East Side = 4
- Central Park = 4
- Upper West Side = 5
- Harlem = 11
To take a picture of the Secret Photo Op locations you will need to have completed up to the Landmarking Mission (since you get the camera in this mission). Once this mission is complete you can enter photo mode by pressing up on the d-pad. When you highlight something with your camera, the indicator will turn green when you have something interested highlighted.
Financial District Secret Photo Op Locations (8 Photos)
There are 8 Secret Photo Op Locations in the Financial District.
The Financial District is located in the Southwest corner of New York City. In this area there are a total of 8 Secret Photo Ops you can unlock. Above you will find a map with all Financial District Secret Photo Op locations on it and below you will find the corresponding Landmark (see #s on map).
1. Statue of Liberty
The Statue of Liberty is the first Secret Photo Op of the Financial District.
2. Lockjaw Statue
Take a photo of the Lockjaw Statue at location 2.
3. Bougainvillea Building Flower Art
Head to the Bougainvillea Building at location 3 and take a picture of the flowers on the window.
4. The Pylon
Take a photo of The Pylon (art piece) on the Battery Park Esplanade at spot 4.
5. New York Pier Sign
Take a picture of the New York Pier Sign at location 6.
6. Auerbach Theater
Head to location 6 and snap a picture of the Auerbach Theater.
7. New York Supreme Court Statue of Woman
Head to the New York Supreme Court at location 7 and take a picture of the woman statue out front.
8. Puck Building Statue of Puck
Head to the Puck Building at location 8 and take a picture of the Puck statue pictured above.
Chinatown Secret Photo Op Locations (8 Photos)
Chinatown has 8 Secret Photo Op locations to discover.
Located on the Southeast corner of New York City is the Chinatown district. In this district there are a total of 8 Secret Photo Op locations to collect. Check out the map above for all 8 locations and consult the corresponding numbers below for the landmark you need to photograph.
1. Chinatown Police Station
The Chinatown Police Station is one of the Secret Photo Op locations in Chinatown (see location 1).
2. Rhino Street Graffiti
Just down the street from the Chinatown Police Station you will find Rhino Graffiti (location 2).
3. Williamsburg Skate-Park
Beneath the Williamsburg Bridge at location 3, you will find a Skate-Park. Take a picture of it.
4. Manhattan Bridge Archway
Head west of of the Williamsburg Bridge to reach the Manhattan Bridge Archway (location 4).
5. Leo’s Pizza
On the west side of Chinatown you will find Leo’s Pizza. Take a picture of it (Location 5).
6. Stuyvesant Town Fountain
Head to the park marked at location 6 and take a picture of the fountain there.
7. Scorpion Street Graffiti
At the corner of 12 St and Rogers you will find this street art (Location 7).
8. H.E.A.R.T Clinic Statue
Head to the Chinatown H.E.A.R.T Clinic and take a picture of the woman statue in the courtyard.
Greenwich Secret Photo Op Locations (3 Photos)
There are a total of 3 Secret Photo Op locations in Greenwich.
Located to the west of Chinatown you will find the Greenwich district. In this district there are 3 Secret Photo Op locations. Check out the map above for all 3 locations and use the photos below to see what the landmarks are. Good luck!
1. J. Jonah Jameson Street Graffiti
On a building in this area you will find a huge mural of J. Jonah Jameson. Take a picture of it.
2. Stonewall Inn
Head to location 2 and snap a pick of the Stonewall Inn.
3. Museum of Modern Art
At location 3 you will find the Museum of Modern Art. Take a photo of it.
Hell’s Kitchen Secret Photo Op Locations (3 Photos)
Hell’s Kitchen is located just north of Greenwich. In this district there are 3 Secret Photo Op locations.

1. Vulture Street Graffiti
The first location we will be visiting is a large Vulture mural on a building.
2. Nelson & Murdock Attorneys At Law Office
Nice little reference here to Daredevil. Take a photo of Nelson & Murdock Attorneys At Law office at location 2.
3. Portside Grain Building
The final location in Hell’s Kitchen is the Portside Grain Building.
Midtown Secret Photo Op Locations (4 Photos)
The Midtown district has a total of 4 Secret Photo Op locations.
Located to the west of Hell’s Kitchen you will find Midtown. In Midtown there are a total of 4 Secret Photo Op locations. To find all locations, consult the map above, and then use the photos below to find the landmarks associated with the locations.
1. Paramount Building
Take a photo of the Paramount Building’s clock at location 1.
2. Columbus Circle
Head to the Columbus Circle at location 2 and take a picture of the statue there.
3. Beacon Court
At location 3, take a picture of Beacon Court, which is between the two buildings.
4. Koi Fish Wall
The final location of Midtown is a Koi Fish art wall.
Upper East Side Secret Photo Op Locations (4 Photos)
In the Upper East Side district there are 4 Secret Photo Op locations.
Located directly north of Midtown you will find the Upper East Side. In this district there are 4 Secret Photo Op locations to find. Use the map above and images below to find all the landmarks you need to photograph.
1. 65th Street Library
You want to take a picture at the entrance to the 65th Street Library pictured above.
2. Recessed Fountain Plaza
Head to the Recessed Fountain PLaza at location 2.
3. Black Wing Tavern
Take a picture of the Black Wing Tavern at location 3.
4. Latin American Museum
The last Secret Photo Op location in the Upper East Side is the Latin American Museum.
Central Park Secret Photo Op Locations (4 Photos)
In Central Park there are 4 Secret Photo Op locations.
To the east of the Upper East Side is Central Park. This large park area features a total of 4 Secret Photo Op locations. All locations are highlighted on the map above and the corresponding landmarks are shown in the pictures below.
1. Boat Pavilion
The first photo we will take is of the Boat Pavilion in Central Park.
2. Beldevere Castle
Next head to the Beldevere Castle and grab a snap of it.
3. Cleopatra’s Needle
Head on over to Cleopatra’s Needle and grab a picture of it.
4. The Blockhouse
The Blockhouse is the final location in Central Park.
Upper West Side Secret Photo Op Locations (5 Photos)
In the Upper West Side there are 5 Secret Photo Op locations.
To the west of Central Park is the Upper West Side. In this area there are a total of 5 Secret Photo Op Locations. To find them all use the map and photos of each landmark in this section.
1. Firehouse 74
Head to Firehouse 74 to grab the first Secret Photo Op location.
2. Soldier’s and Sailor’s Memorial
The second spot is the Soldier’s and Sailor’s Memorial.
3. Eagles and Prey Statue
Take a photo of the Eagles and Prey statue at location 3.
4. Greenhouse
Grab a photo of the Greenhouse at location 4.
5. Oscorp Records Building
The fifth and final photo is at the Oscorp Records Building.
Harlem Secret Photo Op Locations (11 Photos)
There are 11 Secret Photo Op locations to be found in Harlem.
The last area, Harlem, is located at the north most part of New York City. This area covers a large area and features a staggering 11 Secret Photo Op locations to collect. Above you will find a map of all 11 locations and below you will find each individual landmark. The end is in sight now!
1. Sherman Monument Statue
At location 1 take a photo of the Sherman Monument Statue.
2. Harlem Sanitarium
Location 2 is home to the Harlem Sanitarium. Take a photo of the entrance.
3. General Grant National Memorial
When you arrive at location 3, there is a building. Take a photo of the General Grant National Memorial.
4. Harlem Street Art
Along the road at 4 you will find some street art on a wall. Take a picture of it.
5. Soldier’s Cemetery Monument
In the Soldier’s Cemetery there is a monument. Take a photo of it.
6. Rooftop Graffiti
On a apartment building near the cemetery is this artwork. Grab a photo of it.
7. Trinity Church
The church in the graveyard near Ben’s grave is a Secret Photo Op location.
8. Ben Parker’s Grave
Taking a photo of Ben Parker’s grave is one Secret Photo Op location.
9. Pale Horse Ridez
Take a photo of the Pale Horse Ridez motorcycle shop in Harlem.
10. Norman Osborn Campaign Office
The Norman Osborn Campaign Office is a Secret Photo Op location. Take a picture of it.
11. Harlem Community Garden
The Harlem Community Garden i the final Secret Photo Op location.
What you Get for Completing the Secret Photo Op
For snapping all 50 photos you unlock the ESU Suit. This Suit is unlisted in the Suits menu, and is Peter Parker in an Empire State University t-shirt and Spider-Man mask. There is no associated Suit Power for this Suit unlock. Alongside the ESU Suit you also get a total of 5K experience (100 per photo).
