Resident Evil 4 Remake Windmill Wooden Cog
In the Resident Evil 4 Remake Chapter 1 players arrive in a named location called the Farm. The Farm is home to enemies, the Blue Medallion collectibles, and a Windmill puzzle that is a bit confusing to solve if you don’t know what to do. Where is the Windmill?
There are two Windmills you will find in the Farm area. The one I am talking about is the Big Windmill in the northernmost part. Go to the northside of the Farm and you will see the large Windmill looming over you. We need to find a way to get inside.
How to Enter the Big Windmill
Once you’ve found the Big Windmill you are probably wondering how to go about getting inside of it. To get into the windmill walk towards the locked gate. Once you are at the locked gate turn right and you will see a smaller gate. Go into the gate and you will enter the lower portion of the windmill. Walk forward until you encounter a ladder you can climb up to reach the top. Here you will find the Windmill missing cog puzzle.
Where to Find the Wooden Cog
At the top of the ladder walk forward and interact with the lever. You will learn that the lever doesn’t work because there is a missing Wooden Cog you need to find and replace.
To find the missing Wooden Cog turn to the left of the lever and walk out of the hole in the side of the windmill. Follow the wooden plank path forward so you reach the window leading into the Big Barn. Jump through the window. Go down the ladder to the lower floor where there is a workshop area. Look on the table in the workshop area to find the Wooden Cog.
Take the Wooden Cog and head back to the puzzle. Place the Wooden Cog with the other cogs. Pull the lever. This time the mechanism works. The closed gate below will open. Head down below and go through the gate to continue onto the end of Chapter 1.
