Remnant 2 Magic Quill
The Remnant 2 Magic Quill is a quest item players must acquire as part of the Beatific Palace biome storyline in Losomn. This special item is vital to access other biomes attached to the palace. To learn more about this item and what it does, see our Remnant 2 Magic Quill guide below.
Where to Find the Magic Quill in Remnant 2
To get the Magic Quill make your way to the tunnel system beneath the library. Here you will find a Jester standing on top of a pile of bones. When you approach the Jester there is a prompt to interact with the NPC. Interact to trigger a juggling performance. During this perfomance you can use the Clap emote to earn the Jester’s Bell amulet. Following the performance the Jester gives you the Magic Quill.
The Magic Quill has the following item description:
It doesn’t matter what ink is used. The magic lies in the implement not the medium. The portal could be drawn in ink or water or blood. It could even be carved into stone itself.
What to Do With the Magic Quill in Remnant 2
The Magic Quill allows the player to open the half-painted portals that are around the various parts of the Beatific Palace. This allows you to go to different areas such as the Council Chamber, Postulant’s Parlor where you can play the Postulant’s Game, Browither Quarter, or whatever other locations have rolled in your game.
Using the Magic Quill is simple. First, locate a painted door on a wall (they are marked on your map). As you approach the spot where the door is, you will see a prompt for you to interact. From the menu that appears before you, select the Magic Quill. As you do so, your character’s hand will move with purpose, drawing a shimmering, useable doorway right before your eyes.
Once the doorway is complete you can interact with it to go through it. You will arrive in a new location of the Losomn world. There are many areas you may end up and some only accessible through this method.
