All you need to do in this trial is approach the splashes in the pools. Here you will face off against a Wishiwashi in battle. Defeat the Wishiwashi to send the school downstream. Continue moving from pool to pool, until you eventually reach the Totem’s Lair (2 pools later).

Totem Araquanid

Totem Araquanid is a buffed up version of the Araquanid Pokemon. The pokemon is Level 20, and can summon Dewpiders to aid it in battle. To defeat Totem Araquanid quickly, you will want to utilize either Electric or Grass type Pokemon in your lineup. Try to have a Pokemon that can do status effects to Araquanid to make this fight more manageable.

Upon the defeat of Totem Araquanid, you will receive Waterium Z and the Fishing Rod. Once these items have been received, leave Brooklet Hill to continue on the main story.
