- Description: “A villager named Paira wants you to catch the will-o-th-wisp she saw on Windswept Run to prove to Waka that she’s telling the turth.”
- Target: Red will-o’-the-wisp AKA Chimchar (Windswept Run).
- Rewards: Exp. Candy S x5.
Where to Start the The Mysterious Will-o-the-Wisp (Request 20)
After you complete the main story mission The Frenzy of the Lord of the Woods Request 20 becomes available. Head over to Paira who is standing next to the northwest house along Canala Avenue. Speak to her to learn about the red will-o’-the-wisp (Chimchar). This starts Request 20.
Catch Red Will-o-the-Wisp and Return to Paira
Go to the Obisidian Fieldlands Heights Camp. Pass the time to nightfall if need. Stock up on Poke Balls then head to the southwest of the camp to the quest marker. Investigate the tree when prompted to trigger a ctuscene. After the cutscene you need to fight Chimchar (Lv. 12). Catch the Chimchar then head back to Paira.
Back at Paira speak to her. Show her the Chimchar you caught. Showing the Pokemon triggers a cutscene between Paira, the trainer, and Waka. After the cutscene concludes the Request is completed. You will receive your rewards for a job well done.
