NBA 2K22 Influence Free Agency Signing Guide

How to Unlock the Ability to Influence Free Agency Signings
When you start you MyCAREER you don’t have the ability to impact GM decisions. As you advance through the first season you unlock a variety of quests you can complete. One of the quests involves former NBA player Kendrick Perkins. Perkins is not a fan of you and takes to his show to tell people that. Eventually near the All-Star break you will get the chance to sit down with Kendrick Perkins in The Glory: Become an All-Star. Complete this quest to unlock 25K MVP Points, 3,500 VC, and Influence Free Agency.
How to Use Influence Free Agency
Using this unlocked ability is fairly easy to do. To tell you GM who to target during free agency open the menus and go to MyCAREER > Career > Suggest Free Agents. On the suggest Free Agents screen you will see the currently available free agents that will be on the marker. From here you can select the players you want your team to focus on acquiring.
Like trading it all depends on your current team’s positioning. Team’s with little to no available cap space may not be able to pull off a move to acquire some of the top headliners. With that said it is worth a shot if you drastically want to shake up your team and make a run for the championship.

if I switch team in the ( off season ) — can i still try to ( influence and request free agent ) before the start of my season with my new team ?
Also doesnt save my selections. Coach graves quests are bugged also. Annoying
Its there after all star break i just traded for bol bol got em the next day how do i influence my free agent from my team to stay ?
Okay I thought I was tripping. Feature definitely doesn’t work and resets every time you leave the free agency screen.

It’s impossible to confirm your suggestions and rested everytime you back out so you the feature is useless. Any idea how to fix this?

Almost finished the regular season and game still doesn’t keep my selection of free agents.
This issues is very disheartening when patches have come out and there’s none addressing one of favorite part of mycareer
