How to Unlock the RPD Costume in Resident Evil 4 Remake

Alongside the release of Separate Ways there was a sizable update for the Resident Evil 4 Remake‘s Mercenaries Mode. This update added a few new characters and a surprise Costume unlock for Leon. Unlock Requirement for the R.P.D Costume for Leon in Resident Evil 4 Remake

In order to obtain the R.P.D costume for Leon in the Resident Evil 4 Remake, you must tackle a rather demanding objective within the Mercenaries mode. Your task is to achieve an S+ rating or higher on every map using every character. To reach this rank you need to earn a minimum of 500,000 points during each map run.

After successfully completing this challenge, you will receive a notification informing you of your achievement and the unlocked special costume for Leon. To don the costume, navigate to the Extras screen before launching either the main game or Separate Ways. Within this screen, choose “Leon’s Costume” and scroll down to select the R.P.D. outfit to equip it.

If you are not aware of what this costume is referencing it’s Leon’s outfit worn during the events of Resident Evil 2. Leon is a rookie police officer who arrives in Raccoon City on his first day of duty, only to find himself embroiled in a zombie outbreak.
