To change the camera perspective in Red Dead Redemption 2, all you need to do is press the Touchpad of your PlayStation 4 controller. Doing this will cycle through the various perspectives that are available for you to play in. If you want to change how your first person experience is, you can access the start menu > Settings > Camera. From this menu you can change a number of options for first person mode including the following:

  • Auto Level Camera.
  • Field of View (FOV).
  • Rag Doll.
  • Head Bobbing.
  • Aim Auto-Center (Mount/Vehicle).
  • Cover.
  • Horse Riding.

Once you have the first person settings how you like them, simply hit back to have them apply in game. If you wish to start over or switch things, you can go back to the Camera page and use the Restore All or Restore Default options. That’ all there is to it!
