How to Start GTA Online The Contract
Rockstar has added a new update to their popular online title, GTA Online. This new update is called The Contract and it features the return of Franklin Clinton from the game’s main story. Alongside the addition of Franklin there is new solo and group content players can complete including the likes of Dr. Dre. Here’s how to start GTA Online The Contract.
NOTE: Be sure you’ve installed update 1.55 before continuing.
Purchase a Celebrity Solutions Agency
After you’ve installed the new updated containing The Contract content make your way into GTA Online. When you login you will receive a phone call from Lamar. Lamar tells you about new properties available for purchase from dynasty8executive.com. These new properties are your ticket to accessing the new content. To buy your own property open the phone and access the Dynasty8. On this screen you will have the option to purchase one of four agencies:
- Hawick: $2,830,000.
- Little Seoul: $2,010,000.
- Vespucci Canals: $2,145,000.
- Rockford Hills: $2,415,000.
To gain access to The Contract missions you need to buy one of the properties listed above. Like other properties in the game there is a variety of add-ons you can purchase for the property as well. Regardless buy a property to advance.
Visit Your Agency to Meet Franklin
Upon purchasing your new agency it will be marked on your map. Make your way to this ne property and head inside. When you enter the property you will trigger a cutscene where you meet Franklin (and Chop). Franklin explains what the agency does and gives you a bit of a tour. Lamar joins the duo and talks business.
Once the cutscene is over and you regain control of your player the next step is to use your computer. Before you do that register as a VIP, CEO or MC President. Once that’s done use the computer and login (you may need to wait a few minutes). When you login you gain access to Security Contracts to complete. Do one of these contracts.
After you complete a contract Franklin will ask you to meet at the Golf Course. Go there to start the first story mission called On Course. This begins The Contract mission arch for Dr. Dre.
