How to Get to Mohgywn Palace in Elden Ring

In Elden Ring there are a few rather hidden areas players can access to play optional content. These areas are rather hidden and can be hard to find if you don’t know where you need to look. One of the hidden areas is Mohgywyn Palace. Use our how to get to Mohgywn Palace in Elden Ring guide to find this location.

Note: this guide assumes you have access to the Consecrated Snowfields. See our guide if you don’t.

Where to Find the Mohgwyn Palace Teleporter

To get to this hidden location you need to access a teleporter located somewhere in the Consecrated Snowfields. This teleporter is located on the far west side of the region. The teleporter is right along the cliff. There are red flowers around the area it is in. The red dot on the map above is where you will find it. Go to the map location and you a Sanguine Noble invades. Defeat this enemy and the portal will activate.

After you go through the portal you will be in a cave. Ride forward through the cave and you will reach a Site of Grace called Palace Approach Ledge-Road. The goal of this area is to reach the palace to fight Mohg, Lord of Blood. He is an optional boss that does have a Remembrance and trophy/achievement.

Alternative: Get Pureblood Knight’s Medal from Varre Questline

There is an alternative method to getting to Mohgwyn Palace that requires completing an NPC’s questline. White-Faced Varre, the NPC you meet at The First Step, has a questline for the Blood Lords. Beat the questline to get the Pureblood Knight’s Medal which teleports you to Mohgwyn Palace to see Mohg, Lord of Blood.
