How to Unlock the Dark Suit in Spider-Man – Complete Black Cat Stakeouts Guide

In Spider-Man, you’ll find a variety of suits to unlock. Some are straightforward to obtain, while others require more effort, like the Dark Suit. If you’re wondering how to get the Dark Suit in Spider-Man, this suit is definitely worth the effort, and in this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to unlock it.
Complete All 12 Black Cat Stakeouts
As you progress through the storyline, Black Cat will contact you during the “Couch Surfing” mission, giving you addresses to visit. At each location, you’ll find a camera setup. To complete a stakeout, photograph the Black Cat doll found at the location. Each district features at least one stakeout. Here’s a breakdown of the districts and their stakeouts:
Financial District (2)


The Financial District has two Black Cat Stakeouts.
For the Stakeout near Chinatown, look under the “Get Into the Black” billboard to find the doll.
For the Stakeout south of the Financial District, check the roof of the lowest building to your right. The doll will be inside an open air vent.
Chinatown (1)
Chinatown has one Black Cat Stakeout.
This Stakeout is located to the north, near F.E.A.S.T. Look for the Black Cat doll in the open sunlight on the roof with the eyeball graffiti.
Greenwich (1)

Greenwich has one Black Cat Stakeout.
It’s located south of the Police Station. To complete it, photograph the Black Cat doll inside an open door on the roof of the building slightly left of where the camera starts. Look for lounge chairs near the door.
Hell’s Kitchen (2)


Hell’s Kitchen has two Black Cat Stakeouts.
The first is located directly west of the Police Station. To complete it, look for the flying pig graffiti on the rooftop to your right. The Black Cat doll is next to an open vent.
The second Stakeout is in the northern part of Hell’s Kitchen. To complete it, take a photo of the Black Cat doll inside the Valeria NYC Fashion store display directly below you.
Midtown (2)


Midtown has two Black Cat Stakeouts to complete.
The first is in the southwestern corner. To find the Black Cat Doll, look at the building slightly to the right of the camera’s starting position. There is an open door on its roof with the doll inside.
The second Stakeout is in the northern section. Look for a building with a water tower (down and to the right). The Black Cat Doll is inside an open door next to the water tower.
Upper East Side (1)

The Upper East Side has one Black Cat Stakeout.
Located in the northern region (north of the Police Station), look down at the building directly below you. On the right side of the roof, you’ll find a Black Cat Mural and an open door. The Black Cat Doll is inside the door.
Upper West Side (1)

The Upper West Side has one Black Cat Stakeout.
This Stakeout is located slightly northwest of the Police Station. Look directly ahead at the rooftop, where you’ll find an open vent with the Black Cat Doll inside.
Harlem (1)

In the Harlem district, there’s one Black Cat Stakeout to complete.
This Stakeout is located on the west side of the district. Look to the building on the right along the road with diamond graffiti. Next to the graffiti, you’ll find a Black Cat Mural on an open door. Inside the door is the Black Cat Doll.
Find Black Cat’s Hideout


After completing all 12 Black Cat Stakeouts, you’ll unlock the side mission Cat’s Cradle. In this mission, you’ll need to find Black Cat’s hideout. Head to the west coast of the Upper West Side, where a quest marker will guide you. Once there, enter the old train tunnels and open the door marked with dog mouth graffiti. Inside the hideout, you can interact with several stolen items, and on the workbench, you’ll find the Dark Suit waiting for you.
