How to Complete the Unfinished Ceremony Guide – Blasphemous
In Blasphemous there are a number of side quests for players to complete. These side quests reward you with interesting items and possible endings. One side quests you may have been wondering about involves completing an unfinished ceremony. The post below shows you how to complete the unfinished ceremony.
Collect The 3 Ceremony Items
There are three items you need to collect to complete the ceremony. These items are spread throughout Cvstodia. The location of the items are as follows:
- Black Grieving Veil: Can be found in the Desecrated Cistern area.
- Torn Bridal Ribbon: Sold by Candelaria for 800 in the Graveyard of the Peaks.
- Melted Gold Coins: Found at the end of the top room above the Ceremony Room in the Grievance Ascends area.
Once you have all of these items make your way to the Ceremony Room which is located in the Grievance Ascends area (see map above).
Offering Items
In the Ceremony Room you will see three offering plates. Place all three of the items on the plates to trigger a brief cutscene. After the cutscene is complete you will witness a rather frightful sight. Speak to the NPC that appears and she will give you the Quest Item: Egg of Deformity.
What to do with Egg of Deformity
Once you have the Egg of Deformity you may be wondering what to do with it. Well, take the egg and put it into the tree where you fought Perpetua in the Mountains of The Endless Dusk. Go one screen away and return to receive the Quest Item: Hatched Egg of Deformity.
What to do with Hatched Egg of Deformity
Ahhh. Nothing like getting another item you have no idea what to do with. With that said you can give the Hatched Egg of Deformity to the batching woman in Albero (entered via the statue beside the Prie Dieu). This will earn you the Relic: Three Gnarled Tongues.

After you get the Three Gnarled Tongues, go back to Altasgracias in the Ceremony Room and you will found out that she is gone and left after a bead: “Knot of hair”
