Let me be honest with you, Bloodstained Ritual of the Night is a weeb’s dream come true. In it you play as a sexy anime girl who kicks serious demon ass. With that said you may wish Miriam looked more to you liking. Fear not as papa Enricofairme is here to show you how to change character appearance in Bloodstained Ritual of the Night.

Reach the Dian Cecht Cathedral

To reach the NPC that provides the appearance changing service, you need to reach the area called Dian Cecht Cathedral. This area is roughly 15% into the map. Once you reach the cathedral you want to head to what I call the Tree Room (since there is a giant tree in the middle of it).

Talk to Todd the Not So Killer Barber

Once you reach the Tree Room make your way up to the top left exit and head into the next room. Here you will trigger a cutscene with an NPC that is a Killer Barber enemy. This NPC is called Todd. He was cursed a Killer Barber and must cut hair to break that curse. Todd offers the following appearance altering services:

  • Hairstyle.
  • Hair color.
  • Costume main color.
  • Costume sub color.
  • Skin color.
  • Eye color.

The above services cost you nothing and can be changed at anytime when you visit Todd. Keep in mind that you do not have all hairstyles at the start, so be on the lookout to unlock more. Getting your first haircut unlocks the A New You achievement/trophy.
